Hey all! Hope everyone is doing well.

I just got back home from a busy day at the art museum with my mom, sister, and nieces and nephew. We had a blast! Saw all sorts of cool stuff and we got to see how glass is blown :) Actually made this REALLY pretty bowl right before out eyes! They actually have classes on it. It'd be so cool if I could give it a try, but I'd probably just suck at it :mello:

I have put in another aplication for a different job so lets see what happens with that.

The dish is called Kare Lomen and is made at Wagamama's. I was using minced lemongrass so put far too much as I forgot I would only need a little bit if it was not fresh lemongrass.

Today's dish will be chicken wrapped in bacon stuffed with goats cheese :)





Ash, I am sure after a while you would be great. I think it would take time for anyone to get good at something like that but once you've learnt you would be great! :D

Awww, thanks Seven. Yeah I know it would take time to learn, but I guess I'll never find out if I have a knack for it cause the classes are $500 :lol: It would just be so cool to learn to do something like that. It sure was fun just watching them even. I wanna go back and watch them make something else. I wanted to browse the shop (the stuff that they make is for sale in there) but we had to hurry out cause my niece needed her diaper changed ASAP.

The whole day was just fun. I haven't been to the art museum in ages! I wanna go back so I can do more looking around without having to worry about the kids touching and trying to climb on stuff. My niece was touching a mural (couldn't get to her fast enough) and before there was no one in sight and as soon as she approached it a worker was right there in a split second, giving me this stern look, but didn't say anything cause I think she saw that I was handling it.

And I must say, the dish you plan on making sounds so delish, even though I've never had goat cheese before ;lol:

Awww, I know Katie, colds are the worst. All I wanna do is just sleep. Every now and then I'd get on the computer if I'm feeling well enough for now, but then my head starts to hurt from the bright screen :mello: I hope you're feeling better hon :huggy:

My arm is okay too, only got a bandage and a sling. In 2-3 weeks it'll be healed :holiday: The doc said the bone will move back when the swellings done so no problems *yay!*

I have been such a lazy git but it is SOOOOOO nice.

The dish turned out well, I overcooked it a little I think but I polished the lot off :blush: Today's dish is chicken chilli ramen.
