This is one of the reasons I love these photos so much. More or less any gig photo, I'll love it, but these in particular. A never-to-be-repeated phase in Michael's performing life.

I wish I knew. I love this photo and I LOVE the hat and the cool way he's wearing it. But, yeah, where did it come from? What's going on here? These are the stories I want but presumably will never, ever get. Sigh!

Yes!!! The spontaneous feel of these photos, I love that. I want more! Gigs where things aren't supposed to happen but they do anyway are always the best gigs, imo.
