Has the Break of Dawn demo ever been released in FLAC quality? Or at least better quality than the poor YouTube videos?

It hasn’t- thanks for bringing this up. The demo for “Break of Dawn” actually has not leaked. The “Twilight” demo currently on YouTube is an entirely separate song from BoD, and I’m pretty sure Dr. Freeze has confirmed this before in an interview.

I had no idea! Do we have this particular interview? Very interested in knowing more. Thanks for bringing this up @Mister_Jay_Tee and @Hollywood_Tonight!

I can’t seem to find it, but I specifically remember Dr. Freeze confirming it’s a separate song- he wrote “Twilight” to be sort-of a sequel to “Break of Dawn”, hence why the two have similar themes.

Edit: this isn’t the exact interview I mentioned, but here’s a transcript of Dr. Freeze describing the BoD demo. He says it’s nearly identical to the album version, so by that logic “Twilight” cannot be the demo of BoD.

Q: You have therefore proposed his "Break Of Dawn", and then you had to redo the song in full by following his advice?

F: No, he just had to record vocals ... and add his magic! It was like flowers and trees grew in the song! He touched her and it became magical! I was shocked!

Q: So all the musical parts and the lyrics were made in advance?

F: Yes, he loved the song! He wanted to leave it as is! All I had done on this piece, no one had the right to change anything. Because it sounded like he had heard the first time we had a dream, a vision, and he wanted to recreate this dream in song to the last detail. He did not want to change anything, he wanted to keep the magic of the song absolutely intact. What you hear on Invincible is exactly the version I've given him before he raises his voice there.

Very, very interesting. Well now I wanna know more about it. Lemme guess, Michael never got to record it?
