With the Today show interview I am glad she was strong in how she said Michael never hurt anyone. I do believe that you can be forced to say something if you are being threatened and such. I am surprised Matt brought it up. With her father she never answered the question about her dad and he asked her like 3 times.

She says to read between the lines but if you don't name names then it's hard for people to believe what you are saying is true. You want to understand but you can't when there is no proof.

When LaToya talks about "reading between the lines, it's all in my book," it reminds me of Geraldine Hughes when she was promoting her book. Everytime Ms. Hughes was asked a direct question, her response ALWAYS lead back to "the answer to your question is in my book."

Did Matt read the book? I assume they should try since they are interviewing and he asked more than once who these people are. Her answers about read the book and you will see who doesn't work. You get more questions than answers and it's frustrating.

It reminds me of when Tatiana came to a Web site I used to answer fans' questions. She always would say buy the book too. This does not look good at all. LaToya is squashing any credibility she might have been building in relation to things she did in the last six years that had nothing to do w/Michael. Doesn't look like she's doing Michael proud in this book at all.

You know why it is not there - because LaToya Jackson is "TV personality" whose claim to fame is the Jackson name and her 'relationship' with Michael. Some fans will throw their hands up at this thing, but I stand by it. There is no reason why an interview about a book called 'Starting Over' should focus on the 'conspiracy' surrounding Michael's death. But then again, I am of the opinion that a book called 'Starting Over' should not have anything to do with Michael whatsoever to the degree that it does. If you are going to talk about family, talk about ALL of them. LET ALL THE SKELETONS OUT!!

I'm sick and tired of them, everyday you hear about so called nasty fans going after the poor innocent family. All of you know that's BS, it's not like we're going after them for no reason, their actions make us call them out! If people still refuse to see it and go on with the poor sweet innocent family with few flows crap, do it but don't expect us to be as blind and in denial about who these people really are as u people
I'm done cuz I know, if I get started mods will have to clean up even more. Just one more thing, there is a reason why I dislike Latoya and there is a reason why I don't believe anything she has to say, starting from her so called abuse to this nonsense. Bridgett...I really don't have the energy to watch it today or this week. I still haven't watched the the kids & Fake HTW GMA interview.

I cannot hate La Toilet (as my boyfriend calls her) anymore than I do...so this can wait.


Just to reassure you all...even with her big Today show interview...Her book is TANKING on amazon.com. She is #971 ...on the Top 100. Today Show has MILLIONS more viewers than Piers Morgan & if they couldn't get her in the Top 100...Piers Morgan won't do much.

So take solace in that ....

This will not be a best seller...Mark my words.

when you look to Jacksons and what they are saying you get conflicting stories. Was Michael okay healthy and ready to do 50 concerts or was he so sick and thin that he couldn't do 1 concert? Was he an addict and interventions happened or wasn't he an addict?

As we get 2 conflicting stories, it means that at least one side is wrong and one is right (or both wrong) and that brings a question of which one? As long as they say conflicting things their credibility would be an issue.



did you really expect Latoya or Jermaine or anyone name names? It won't happen. I'll say this again allegations of crime (which includes murder) is defamation per se. And only way to get away from a defamation lawsuit is "truth". So she can only give names if she can back her claims by proving them. If she had such proof she would be going to the cops and/or the cops would be taking it seriously.

It will be interesting to see what questions Piers Morgan will ask LaToya. Will he challenge anything she says. That is what she needs - someone who has done their homework to challenge and ask the hard questions.

Memefan, you are probably right. The book will tank but she may still get some headlines out of it and some of those headlines will no doubt have a negative slant for Michael. That too will pass.

Watching Ms Jackson on CNN, and i am so mellow. Latoya is comic relief. The media does not respect her, never did. And the public pretty much dismisses her. Today's show Matt Lauder and his media buddies all seeking a blockbuster headline from untrustworthy Latoya.

The kids have not shed a tear since leaving the hospital on 6/25/09.???? Oh Latoya.!!

Just saw Pierce...why must she ALWAYS say when asked about the kids, "Michael kept them restricted and confined"> which is a LIE, he just kept his kids at a distance from THEM! Jesus be a baby in boxing gloves, because I seriously want to smack some of the collagen from her face!

I really want to be angry at all of the people who are so venomous towards her. I think she is really endearing and she seems very sweet. But, some of the things she says... I can only sigh :sigh:

But still everyone, seriously, please watch your tone when speaking about the family. We are not saying to change your opinion, but to change how you say things.

Can we at least try?

Her comment makes me think that they don't want a close relationship with her right now. So she's having a hard time with it. Her justification???

Just watched Her Peirs Morgan tonight interview and it was way better then the Today show interview. I think she did good, I guess she needs an hour long interview to make as much better sense in her complex life?! But, I liked this interview very much.

She explains her father Joe behavior very good and I kinda figured that sort of thing happen in his life and that's what made him so damn tough. About his lack of love from his parents as a child he received as well. It's not an excuse for how he treated his kids but it gives u the reason why he is the way he is.

She also said that MJ was Clean. So she is another in the family other then Jermaine that is saying he was not an addict, that the only thing in his body was what Muarry gave him. But, that the people around MJ in his life took advantaged of him and MJ spoke of fear for his life and knew people around him was not looking out for his best. So I guess for her this is how she sees that it was murder and how they knew about the Dr.?

She also admits the family is not as close as they could be that they all have different opinions about what happen and it's sad. She wish she was there for MJ more. So at least she admits what we all see, like how some say he was an addict and some not, which really sucks.

But, yea over all it was a way better interview and I understand what she means now...I think? lol Doesn't mean I will buy her book though. I'm just glad I understand what she was saying way better now even if not all. Because she doesn't get into that much detail when it comes to the others.

But, yea I don't care who agrees with me or not, this is what I came away with from this interview. So how bout anyone else who actually saw it?

Blanket was crying during the memorial as well. maybe she was saying this was the last time they were crying uncontrollably??? Sometimes it is hard to try to decipher what she says. But even she can't believe that truthfully.

ETA: Bluetopez those are very good points. I actually did appreciate that about this interview. She states very clearly that MJ was clean when he died. She also said very clearly that the coroner told her MJ had no drugs in his sytem except what Murray gave him.

I actually really, REALLY appreciate someone finally making this very clear. I think the family has a long way to go, but they are getting better in some aspects and I appreciate that.
