I think the mania has always been around, but not as much as it was in the 80's/90's.

With so much illegal downloading it's fantastic!

2008 most be great for MJ also economically!
 
Saw this yesterday and was a bit wtf?? but the price of £3.95 is obviously giving it a helping hand... its funny to see though, what feels like the 100th MJ greatist hits type release, beating Kings of Leon, Duffy, Leona Lewis, Katy Perry, Take That etc.
 
Don't want to rain on anyone's parade but he is Number 2 in the itunes chart not number 1.

Nope, I'm on itunes right now and it's still number one.

'Only by the night' by 'The kings of leon' is showing at number 2.
