Karom Is In The HOT SEAT

Well, that makes two of us then... :agree:

I  to ponder too about stuff that really matters instead of that 'superficial crap' that girls are interested in... Indeed, its COOL that it leaves 'space' in your head you can fill up with more 'sensible' things :D

 Yes, it is. :p
That irked a  in my mind... WOW, I :agree: It's through your own faults and shame you can only learn the lesson, hey...

Well... I wouldn't say only. Someone said you should always learn from the mistakes of others because you're never going to live long enough to make them all yourself.

 Almost your second decade  WOW, you have a whole 'rich' life ahead of you...

I'm in my fourth :scratch:and I FEEL I just start to know what makes me tick... I've been given a 2nd chance though

No, hang on, I got that wrong... I meant third decade. I haven't yet entered my third decade.

Well, you learn as long as you live and it's still not enough. :p Everyone's been given a second chance. And second second chance... and a third second chance. We'd all be dead by now had it not been so. :p

Aww, my dear... You didn't ramble... I was :wild: when I read your reply... I guess, always expect the unexpected hey :D

Well, I'm glad. :p I always feel I'm making no sense.

What is is the wisest thing you learnt from Michael through his lyrics, speeches, interviews?

Hmmm the wisest thing. I don't know, he's said many wise things. It's one of the reasons I admire him. He was a smart and wise man. Ok um, I really love the story about the thirsty fish from Dancing the Dream. That's not the only one I love, but that's a story that has struck me on a personal level.

What tips would you give people when they are going through a 'rough' time?

Oh boy, I don't know. I'm not sure I'm in any position to give such advice. I'd probably say that things happen for a reason and you just gotta keep believing and praying. There's this story about a king who said that whoever gave him something that could make a happy man cry and a sad man smile, would get his daughter's hand in marriage and half of his kingdom. Many tried but none succeeded, until a man came to him and gave him a ring that said "This too shall pass". I'd probably tell them that story. I'm not good at this stuff. People don't generally come to me for a hug and a kiss. I'm kinda cold and detached. :p

 Well... I wouldn't say only. Someone said you should always learn from the mistakes of others because you're never going to live long enough to make them all yourself.

 those are the 'easiest' mistakes, I guess
:cheeky:

What are your favorite reflections in 'Dancing the dream' ?

Apart from "Dancing the dream", do you have another book about MJ you would 'praise' to friends?

People don't generally come to me for a hug and a kiss. I'm kinda cold and detached. :p

You're NOT in your answers you give here though...

I guess it's the 'vibrant' Aura field around you that withholds them

What are your favorite reflections in 'Dancing the dream' ?

I'll answer this one later, I have to think about it a bit.

Moonwalker. I haven't read any other books about him that struck me as amazing. :p

You're NOT in your answers you give here though...

I guess it's the 'vibrant' Aura field around you that withholds them

But I am. :p In everything I've said, show me one emotion. It's just all think and analyze. It's how I deal with things. If someone's crying or upset, I just don't know what to say because I can't rationalize their feelings away.

It's not a "vibrant" field that keeps them away, it's a rather thorny and cold one. My aunt brought me a cactus on my birthday once and said she got it for me because it's thorny just like I am.

NO problem
:D

Now, that's cruel what your aunt did :beee:

It's NOT cause people claim that you're cold and thorny that you are, hey?

I'm considered 'distant' and 'cold' too... Is what my Ex-boyfriend claimed  cause I don't like to be kissed and hugged all the time  and even I don't know how to act when someone 'breaks' down in front of me though... I can 'write' caring words though

I don't FEEL cold and distant or even thorny... That is just the 'outside'... The 'shield' to protect my tender inner core...

WHERE DID YOU SHOW EMOTION?

The  yeah, I know silly hey...

I think people sometimes 'narrow' emotions down to only two factors... Crying like a hyena or smiling and laughing like an idiot  I mean I FEEL emotions in what people say... The 'caring' words... ODD, I know

Now, that's cruel what your aunt did :beee:

Nah, I didn't mind. It was a joke, we all laughed, no harm done. :p I still have the cactus and it's thriving. Because if I am to be honest, I am rather like a cactus. An emotional cactus: I'm thorny and I don't need emotional supplies as often as other people do. A hug once every other month is more than enough to keep me happy and going.

It's NOT cause people claim that you're cold and thorny that you are, hey?

No, people claim I am because I am. I've just never been very emotional. Never liked human contact much.

Well, it's always a defense. :p But there's also a predisposition to it and I have it. I was born a brainy introverted kid and I grew up to be even more introverted because no one did anything about it. :p

ODD, I know

The  is not an emotion. Laughing is not an emotion. It often is an indicator of one, but it can simply show amusement which is not really an emotion. And online, it means even less. I often use emoticons more out of habit than anything else. It's like my post doesn't look complete if it doesn't end with one. But it hardly reflects any genuine emotion. :p

What are your favorite reflections in 'Dancing the dream' ?

"The boy and the pillow" is my favorite after the "Thirsty fish". I also love "Courage", "Are you listening?", "I, You, WE", "Berlin 1989" and "Ecstasy". These are my favorites that I can think of right now. :p I have to re-read "Dancing the dream". I haven't read it in a while. :p

Wonderful choices

Ready for some more? I hope we didn't cover them already

Do you like to cook?

What makes you laugh?

What annoys you the most?

What are you the most curious about?

Set... GO...:D

Thanks.

Do you like to cook?

Hell no with a side dish of no friggin way. :p

What makes you laugh?
Funny things. :D

What annoys you the most?

Myself. People. In that order.

What are you the most curious about?

Everything. Well, mostly everything, I don't care much for Chemistry. But I'm a scientist, curiosity is a must.

Thanks.

Do you like to cook?

Hell no with a side dish of no friggin way. :p

 That must be a NEW dish you 'invented'...

So, any FAVE food or is FOOD not quite of an interest to you? :cheeky:

What can I say, I'm a great chef. :D I actually make very delicious food, I just hate doing it.

So, any FAVE food or is FOOD not quite of an interest to you?

Oh no, I love food. :D I just don't like making it myself. Favorite food... hmmmm that's a difficult question. I'm not really sure I have one. Although one of my mom's Greek salads might just be on top of the list. :dribble:

If this is already asked, don't hesitate to yell okay :cheeky:

If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be?

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?

:D

:shout: :shout: no, I'm just kidding, they haven't been asked before.

If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be?

Some sort of research. Most likely in the field of either neuroscience or genetics. :D

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?

I like my first name, but if I absolutely had to, I'd probably change it to Samantha. :D

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

Most likely yell. :lmao: No, I would probably buy myself a new iPod and then buy a new car.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?

Wow, um... who would I like to be. Someone cool like um... Pepper Potts or Sherlock Holmes if I get to also change gender. Or, even better, I would be the lion sea-turtle from Avatar. :D

Hey :ciao:

Have we covered this already? :cheeky:

What is/was your fave subject at school?

What would be your dream job?

What is/was your fave subject at school?

Biology and more recently, Physics. :p

What would be your dream job?

Scientist. Research. Discovering sciency stuff. :p

What is your dream vacation?

Some nice beach in some godforsaken place no one has ever heard of. Just me, my family and the vast beauty of the ocean. And a nice hotel. :lmao:

Where would you most like to live?

I have no idea.

Who is your favourite artist besides MJ?

As a solo artist, I don't really know. But I really love the band called Apologetix. :p

Scientist. Research. Discovering sciency stuff.

Could you tell me something more about this? I'm intrigued...

What "specific" field would you like to research or discover?

Could you tell me something more about this? I'm intrigued...

What "specific" field would you like to research or discover?

Well, Biology is my main thing. I love how the body works. I'm absolutely fascinated by genetics so perhaps something in that field. But neuroscience also fascinates me. I'd love to study the brain. I also love Physics. I stand in awe at the majesty of the Universe and how beautifully it functions. I really don't know what I want specifically because I love it all so much and I'd do it all if I could and I will if I get the chance. I'm going to go for Biology first and I'm hoping to get a Doctorate. And after that, if I have time left to live, I'll pursue Physics as well more seriously and not just as a... hobby.

I :clapping: you really... I  peeps with passions and visions... We are 'given' this life to 'excel' right?

I love to watch Documentaries about the brain too... So fascinating how it works and lights up... It's our HUMAN computer:agree:

A Doctorate in Biology? Sounds fascinating :wild:
Is it like being a Professor in Biology then?

 question I know but I'm 'curious' asI love to learn too... I'm out of College now and I'm pondering to go back in September or not... I just love 'soaking' up knowledge too...

I :clapping: you really... I  peeps with passions and visions... We are 'given' this life to 'excel' right?

Thanks. :) I think we're given this life to learn. We come in as a rough mass of carbon and if we do it right, we might just leave it as a beautiful diamond. I intend to do my best. :p

I love to watch Documentaries about the brain too... So fascinating how it works and lights up... It's our HUMAN computer:agree:

It's absolutely amazing. If you were to take the amount of information the human brain processes at any given time, you'd need a building 10 stories high full of computers to be able to process and handle it. It takes my breath away to think about it.

A Doctorate in Biology? Sounds fascinating :wild:
Is it like being a Professor in Biology then?

Well, no. A Professor is someone who teaches (in an university, most often), but seen as I have no intention of doing that, I will just be a Doctor. So, basically, a doctorate would give me the qualifications to become a professor if I wanted to. :p But I'd rather go into research. Have my own nice little lab where everyone leaves me alone. Nice and quiet. :D

 question I know but I'm 'curious' asI love to learn too... I'm out of College now and I'm pondering to go back in September or not... I just love 'soaking' up knowledge too...

Well, I'd say definitely go. :D But of course, there are many factors to consider.

Hey :hat_wave:

Any exciting projects on your sleeve right now?

Thanks for the 'excellent' feedback, you know. It gave me the boost to continue editing my 2nd book

Well, I'm still considering some small 'study' projects cause the Job agency of course wants me to find a job now though

Indeed, I bought a DVD BBC Docu on "The Human mind" :D Intriguing really.

You become a Doctor  Well, I keep forgetting there are Doctors who don't belong to the 'Quack' kind :cheeky:
Go for it!

Hope you're well?

How's the weather there?

Any exciting projects on your sleeve right now?

Nothing too exciting. I'm reading a book called "The Physics of Christianity". Which I have been doing for a while. It's difficult to read. Anyway, I'm writing a blog based on that book, trying to explaining the ideas presented to a wider public. :p But other than that, I'm just looking to get through high-school.

Hope you're well?

Yes, I am thank you. :D I'm enjoying the holidays. Trying to keep busy.

How's the weather there?

The weather is good, mostly. It's a bit cloudy now.

Thanks for the 'excellent' feedback, you know. It gave me the boost to continue editing my 2nd book

You're welcome. I'm not sure which feedback you're talking about. But congratulations. :flowers:

What would you be studying? I heard you finished the librarian thing. Congratulations.

How yé mean, this isn't exciting ?

What is 'exciting' in your books then?

Cause WOW, I'm sure it's NOT bed time reading hey

Do I read BLOG? Please give me the URL, if you would be so kind. I would love some 'deep' reading :cheeky:

Yep, busy is nice even during the holidays
:D

Do you love clouds or prefer the blue skies instead?
You're welcome. I'm not sure which feedback you're talking about. But congratulations. :flowers:

 Thank you. :)

 you know.

I'll be BOLD and answer my stuff in my HOTseat. This is after all yours hey :cheeky:

So, don't forget to pop into mine too hey :pirate:

What is 'exciting' in your books then?

I don't know. Not reading a book though. I do that all the time. :p Anything that challenges me is exciting. I guess this could qualify as exciting too, but not very exciting. :p

Do you love clouds or prefer the blue skies instead?

I don't mind clouds. They bring rain and I like rain when it's warm. But if it's cloudy for too long, I don't like it. :p Also, I really hate mud.

Cause WOW, I'm sure it's NOT bed time reading hey

Do I read BLOG? Please give me the URL, if you would be so kind. I would love some 'deep' reading :cheeky:

Well yeah, it's a more difficult book to read.

Sure, I'll send you an URL. :p I haven't written much. I've been busy. I do have some notes that I need to get to publishing though. :p

mud indeed :puke:

What's the 'ideal' T° for you? Are you satisfied with 20° C or rather have the full blown 30 ° C ?

Can't believe we went shopping this afternoon when it was 30°C outside and almost NO shade :heat:

What's the 'ideal' T° for you? Are you satisfied with 20° C or rather have the full blown 30 ° C ?

Somewhere in the middle. I'd say the ideal temperature for me would be around 25 Celsius. :D

I really love your siggy

What's your MOST fave episode or even scene with Spike?

Do you have another fave character in Buffy the Vampire slayer?

Thank you. :D I love it too.

What's your MOST fave episode or even scene with Spike?

My favorite episode with Spike or otherwise is 'Fool For Love', from which my siggy actually comes from. My favorite Spike scene... well I don't think I could pick a favorite, but this one ranks high. :D

Also, there is a scene in Angel The Series with Spike and Angel where they're arguing over whether cavemen or astronauts would win in a fight.

Do you have another fave character in Buffy the Vampire slayer?

Well, Spike is one of my all time favorite fictional characters, but I really like Drusilla and also Oz, but I hate him for leaving.

Now you have a firm grip on how out of it I am. I have a tendency to obsess over stuff. :ninja:

I should have known you would pick this one "Fool for love" episode really!

Stupid question now
Do you have the 'special' DVD on Spike? It's one with only 4 episodes with of course Spike as 'main character'

They are both COOL together too. Angel and Spike how they 'fret' about stuff

YOU ARE OUT OF IT! Well, I'm right there with you :cheeky:

I have the box complete with the 7 seasons and all the extras  I love having a Buffy marathon.

Oz is COOL indeed too. WHY did he had to leave anyway cause he's a werewolf?

More 'geek' questions

What do you think about Willow?

Do you like the character of Giles, the watcher?

Apart from Spike, they are my fave ones too :cheeky:

So, don't worry about being 'out of it' :dont_mention_it:I finally found someone who has a 'crush' on Spike too

It's a great episode.

Do you have the 'special' DVD on Spike?

No. :( I only have the Angel one. I couldn't find the Spike one.

I have the box complete with the 7 seasons and all the extras  I love having a Buffy marathon.

Oh, I'm newer to this. So far, I have only found the first part of season 2 DVDs and the Angel special one. :D I'll keep hunting though. :shifty: I'm having a Buffy marathon with my friend now. I got her obsessed with Buffy and obviously Spike. :D

I like geek questions. :D

What do you think about Willow?

I love Willow. I loved her more pre-Tara. In seasons 1-3. She was adorable. I really hate what they did with her after Oz left. I still like her because she's a fun character and still adorable, but I really don't like the... changes.

Do you like the character of Giles, the watcher?

Giles is awesome. :punk:
