Justin Bieber doesn't know what the word 'German' means. No, really.

People are calling him 'stupid' and 'dumbass'. Thats way to much.
 
This kid is so overrated it's ridiculous.

He's 16 and sounds like he's 12. I don't see enough talent to think he's ever going to be anything great when he gets older.

He's at his popularity peak right now. Give it a year or two and you won't hear much from him again.

Ok, another example. When mJ accepted the "artist of the millennium" Everyone laughed but MJ fans were offended. It was a misunderstanding? well guess what? so is this.

If you think you have the right to call justin a "dumbass" for laughing at this then you should expect the same when it comes to MJ. (not you per se just the people calling him that)

You don't like that example either? How about when MJ stood above a car to wave at the fans... IN FRONT OF COURT? That is not a normal act. And we all know WHY he did it, and we all know it's blown out of proportion. It's ok if you're just laughing at the situation. But calling him names and laughing at HIM is a bit disrespectful IMO.

well, waiting for fans on a car was a bit strange.
Michael had a lot of oddities, they were his mental mannerisms and i won't blame anybody for them.

but about artist of the millenium, yes, it was quite funny, although i was a bit confused as i'm his fan :)

As I said I wasn't talking about you per se, but people laughing here would have been so offended if they called MJ names for his behavior in those situations. That's why I'm upset. Personally I just smirked and that was that but name calling isn't right. ESPECIALLY when it comes to MJ fans.
 
"We don't say that in America" sounds strange coming from a Canadian kid.
 
I think the kid just didn't understand the context by which the interviewer was asking him to define German. Or maybe it was misspelled on the card (haven't listened to his explanations). I feel for the child. Oh boy, I'm glad I'm not famous. I can't imagine having every stupid thing I say magnified and laughed at and circulated all over the internet. I'll keep my stupid comments on this forum only, lol.
 
what some people don't seem to realize is that they are looking at this from the viewpoint of one person or a small group of people making fun of them. they don't think of the position that the star is in, when he receives it from all around the world, constantly. that's when it comes across as bullying. it'd be nice just to think outside of one's self.
 
You're right. I forgot that Justin Bieber was forced to be a celebrity. Then again, he's 16, so for all I know he could have been forced. Either way, something tells me that he's adequately compensated for millions of people laughing when he says something stupid, though ;).
 
My advise to Justin Bieber: Stop what you are doing. You are ruining the music industry with your crappy music.

If you are a celebrity you are a public figure. The End. It would be different if the paparazzi filmed him during a moment from his personal life and then broadcasted it. This was an interview, intended to be viewed and talked about by a bunch of people. He said something retarded in said interview, so I will therefore laugh. And you will therefore whine :).
 
i'm not whining. just caring. i'm just glad for the pendelum effect, that's all. :) man. envy is such a many splendored thing. it must hurt to whine about not having enough fame and fans. and money.

I am totally embarrassed for MJ fans in this thread,,,Justin may be 16 but he is still a kid...we HATE it when people make fun of Michael for ANY reason...WHY would anyone make fun of a kid...that is just DISGUSTING. Michael would be ashamed. Have we learned nothing about judging people. Just terrible.

THE THING IS THAT Justin Bieber IS BAD at what he does! Michael Jackson was AMAZING at what he did!

Therefore, many people get upset how he got so famous because of some crappy youtube 80-mil views THING when he is just not GOOD at what he do!

So it's easy for him to become a victim like this, because there are so many people who "hates" him.

When you guys say "oh, if other called MJ a dumbass if he did this", SO WHAT. Michael Jackson was GOOD at what he did.

Come on, how can you compare MJ to Justin? He's a product, every his footstep is estimated by producers. Plus imo his music is shitty :p
Why would we make fun of a kid? We're not making fun of him, you're too serious about it, most people are just laughing at the demonstration of his impressive knowledge :D

Who is comparing Michael to Justin??.......Michael is a genius...he is UNTOUCHABLE. So now that we have that cleared up......I am NOT even a fan of Justin..believe me I have a 16 year old daughter and SHE IS NOT a fan of his.....all I am saying is..it is not nice to make fun of people....ESPECIALLY a kid. Thats all!!! :D

Justin thought the interviewer said "Jewman" instead of "German" and if you actually listen carefully you can hear him pronounce it like jewman, of course you can misunderstand it..
Justin knows german for god sake, he's great grandparents are from germany and his last name is german..

He can count to 10 in German, never mind knowing what it means.

I cant forget the way some of you acted over this though. I can honestly say i've never been more dissapointed in MJ fans. I expected more.

You know how we are all ways saying people such read more into things about MJ rather than just believing what we hear right away?

What a responses from some people here, it's just a mistake. Don't we all say stupid things sometimes(especially when in the spotlight), but for most of us there aren't cameras around, so you just feel stupid about yourself for a while, while nobody else is making a big deal of it:p
Don't know Justin Bieber, but I do think some people are a bit overreacting, just like other people did with Michael when he said something 'stupid' or made a mistake. But then you hear the fans saying that those people are stupid for judging Michael.
O, well that's probably human nature.
