Joe Jackson presents new biografical film in Cannes 17th of may

Joe Jackson brands Dr. Conrad Murray a "clay pigeon"

The physician is due to stand trial for the involuntary manslaughter of the legendary singer - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 - but the pop patriarch insists he and Michael’s mother Katherine are still convinced other people had a hand in the 'Thriller' hitmaker's death.

Joe said: “Everyone is thinking about this doctor. The doctor is just a clay pigeon. Other people are involved. Michael told his mother they were trying to kill him for his publishing. I didn't know anything about it until he passed.”

Joe also spoke about his controversial plans to turn his son's Californian ranch Neverland into a theme park, as well as a second site, Happyland in Vietnam, insisting it is what Michael always wanted.

Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival to promote the Michael Jackson-branded perfumes, Jackson Tribute, Legend and Legacy, he said: "I want people to know that it’s (the Jackson Family Foundation) a legitimate foundation to make money and carry on what we have to do. It is for the health of people in need, like any foundation, in any part of the world.

“Michael had Neverland. It was his mission before Michael passed away to create a theme park and we are taking over that mission."
Joe had a strained relationship with Michael – who shot to fame as a member of family band The Jackson 5 when he was just seven - but insists he always did everything he could for his children to drive them to success.

Joe – who was accused by Michael of beating him when his rehearsals went wrong - added: “Michael was a type of person the whole family went behind who crossed all borders with his music. All kids in all parts of the world, they know about him. His mission was to help people and he sold more records than anyone in show business history. It wasn't easy to get the family to this point. I had to work two jobs. I had all nine kids. I stayed there with them and got them all into showbiz. I don't care what anyone else said I did my job.”

If you've ever looked at Joe Jackson and thought, "How the hell can I smell like THAT guy?" ... well, fret no more ... MJ's dad has unveiled a brand new line of body scents.

Joe debuted a "Jackson" scent line for both MEN and WOMEN in Cannes, France this week ... with a cologne called, "Tribute," and perfume called, "Legend."

Apparently, "Greed" and "Abuse" didn't make the cut.

So what do they smell like you ask? The cologne is described as "heavily musky" and the perfume is a "floral harmony" combined with a "fruity note."

No word on when the smells will be available to purchase.

How purely hypocritical of TMZ to even mention the words 'greed' and 'abuse' in so-called articles about others. I would totally laugh at this if it weren't so despicable.

And Joe... what can you even possibly say of him.. or Weisner?...

Honestly, I wonder how the earth is still able to hold that much lurid gluttony. ...
 
The only thing that comes to mind, for ME, is:

Who the heck is gonna buy any of that stuff? LOL! Who the heck wants to smell like 80-something year old Joe Jackson?

All of the folks involved in these various money-making ventures must be on some serious drugs if they think Joe Jackson is the right person to be the FACE of these products. I mean, seriously!

I "think" they would have had a better chance at a profit windfall if they had REVIVED Joe Cola. LOL!

Haha nobody! That's why Joe took the safe route with Mike and Neverland. He knows he doesn't have any fans, but Michael does. I think TMZ was being sarcastic and funny with the comment about wanting to smell like Joe lol :)

And which Neverland is Joe talking about? can't be THE NEVERLAND as he has no damn say AT ALL! God, when will the madness end!
 
Name the others for once will you, Jackson Family?! So tired of them saying this shit and name no one! WTH? How concern can Joe really be about the others while selling cheap ass scents and other crap while using MJ to get money?

The day The Jackson family realize they are part of the "OTHERS" that took MJ out w/ their continued B.S and Greed, then maybe I can take them seriously!
 
I can't get over how horrible the family is making themselves look. Seriously have you ever seen anything like this before?
 
I find this all just tacky. I don't know how else to describe it. Michael died because of some incompetent doctor and others are just focusing on books, perfumes, and whatever business idea. It feels wrong to me.
 
Oh, Joe Jackson, Dieter Wiesner screwed Michael (who was by far more intelligent than you), what makes you think he would spare you?
Jackson should stay away from people who hurt Michael, why they do think they are immune, or it is not going to happen to them? With their action, they put themselves in deeper problems, and they have to seek legal help, that draws them into more deeper financial situation. Michael is gone, estate is not going to pick up the tab. They have to rethink their actions. But I don't know what it takes for them (especially for Joe) to GET IT.

Joe knows what he is doing. Dieter screwed MJ and kept his logo, so that is why Joe is in business with him to get easy money from MJ somehow. How else was he gonna make money from MJ when MJ didn't even leave a dime to Joe in his will? So of course he was gonna partner up with someone who took something from his son, easy MONEY!

I watched the vid couldnt understand it but that MJ maniquin is beautiful very life like
