Jermaine Jackson Gathers Prince and Justin Timberlake for MJ Tribute

This doesn't seem like the sort of thing Prince would do. He didn't even attend James Brown's funeral. I don't think Prince went to his parents' funerals. Prince did play at George Harrison's Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame induction, so who knows?

Prince doesn't seem the type for tributes so i'd be suprised if he was involved for something like this. I'm more suprised that no one has denied these claims yet.

Prince doesn't seem the type to do anything for anyone but himself to be honest.The man's ego is huge.I'd bet my house this is another false rumour.
 
its just the media picking random names and running with it.same as with vienna.they named madonna and U2 as possible performers. this story makes even less sense seeing as a coupe of days b4 this article came out jerm said in an interview it would happen in august

There was no rivalry, competition maybe. Prince & Mike have hung out together several times. Mike also used to send Prince videotapes of old bands/singers. The "rivalry" was press stories.

Oh..I never knew that..I wish they would've did a song together..it probably would've killed all of the rumors..

I know they tried to do "Bad" together, but what I'm saying is that I wish the MJ/Prince duet would've happened..instead of Prince backing out..
 
i think those artist would love to honor Michael but don't think they trust Jermaine to lead the charge....this is just my opinion
 
Prince? That really is hard to believe. I'm not much of a Prince person...but I would love for him to perform Bad...ha.

Best wishes to Jermaine and company because I would love for this to get done. I'm glad that it is apparently going to be airing.
 
Title of show is sick. Why not "To Michael with LOVE," "Remembering a legend," or something. Seems to me he is using his name on purpose.

I'd be upset if music stars don't arrange their own tribute for June.

I totally agree, He had Chris Brown down for the last one and Glady's Knight, yet they never knew anything about it. Also how many years have we heard him talk about a J5 tour.

I do like Jermaine, but feel he lives on another planet.
 
Maybe updated news on this is around in the media somewhere, but I haven't heard another word about anything anywhere. It's getting closer and closer to the summer, one would think there would be more "buzz" about this. Maybe I'll have to eat my words, but things not looking too promising with Jermaine and his plans once again.

Michael is a man who has set many records for his performances at Wembley STADIUM. The arena has poor acoustics, poor seating, and poor everything. Well, when reports came first about it being moved to London I think the media did say Wembley Stadium. I think this story we have here now is false/based not on full information so maybe its a 'mistake'. It could be people have leaked information about singers he has contacted and they turned it into this story.

There wasn't rivalry, it was media bs, they were quite friendly actually.

Still it would be a surprise, I didn't think Prince would do anything like this.
