So writing a book about Michael Jackson for financial gain is not using him. LOL!

Why can't Jermaine write a book about HIMSELF? He has had a colorful life, with all of the wives and children he left behind. Maybe because he knows that NOBODY is interested in his shabby life and that's why he is writing about his brother instead.

You say that he's doing his own thing in order to make money. If that's true, then why does he refuse to pay child support for his minor children?

Jermaine's minor kids were never his priority nor his responsibility, he's got a past record of 25 years proving this. Besides don't you know we put Jermaine (as well as the rest of the tribe) thru all the misery he (they) went thur, WE are to be blamed for their failed careers, lack of prospective, lack of money, WE make them sell interviews, write songs, badmouth Michael,it's our fault that they're getting their passport snatched away, it's our fault that they were in prison/jail, in the psychiatric ward, it's all our fault cuz WE MAKE them do whatever mistakes they're doing. We must be Half God's indeed. So much power... ugh wish I could use all my power on myself sometimes too, instead of wasting it on them lol

I'm not talking about Jermaine as a person. I'm talking about his financial life: he is doing his own thing to make money rather than use Michael. Some people are just never happy.

The publishers of this book are only interested because of the MJ scoops Jermaine will give, nothing more. He's got so many other siblings, why not write about them? ?.....(we all know the answer to that one don't we) His life is like a daytime soap opera, why not put that out there for all to read.

I think it's safe to say that Jermaine Jackson wants BIG, HUGE success, he ain't trying to have the type of success that Tito is now experiencing.

the question of 'who will be the audience' is a legitimate question considering some so called fans were asking the same back in 07 when rumors about Mike's supposed new album spread, how come people were free to ask this question about Michael who was and still is a huge megastar, yet we're not allowed to ask the very same question about jermaine who despite being ''in showbiz'' for 40 years wasn't able to make a name for himself...

Made me wonder about the FOLLOWERS the brothers have picked up on their various Twitter accounts.

Are any of them experiencing the big numbers like say Kim Kardishian or P. Diddy?

If you take a look at Jermaine's discography and chart positions on Wikipedia, or even just comments on the likes of YouTube, you'll see that he always had a perfectly solid and respectable following as a solo artist, one which wouldn't have been constantly compared to Michael's staggering success if only he hadn't had the misfortune to be his brother - which seems to have long been both the best and worst thing for Jermaine, career-wise.

I've got quite a number of Jermaine's solo albums and if this one ever comes over here, I'll assess it on its own terms just like all of his albums deserve(d) to be, rather than making the unimaginatively dismissive Michael comparisons that so many MJ fans seem obsessed about.

He was a worthy artist in his own right, and I just hope that given the long break and everything, this new album doesn't turn out to be terrible.

If the songs have a good ethnic flavor, they would do well in that part of the world. He could focus on selling over there.
