Exactly, according to herself Janet was more than ready to open for them in 2008 but ''evil'' (she didn't say evil) Michael was the one who needed ''to be pushed''

I wouldn't be shocked if he'd choose to use Michael's kids name again, like he did for his Vienna tribute, claiming ''they are coming with my mom.. they are gonna be on stage with my children... and who knows what will happen once the music is turned on.. they might perform''

It was the interview she did with Larry King. I believe it was around the time Discipline was out and she was promoting it, Thriller 25 was #1 all around the world, at that time.

I don't know about all that lol. All I know is Michael is dead, he is gone, he won't come back, he was seen as a commodity but not as a person people, including family members (not Janet) treated him that way. Some of 'em (not naming anyone) still continue to leech off of him and his death 8 months after his death, to say that's disappointing would be a hell of an understatement.

I feel so much pity for Janet. Now that Michael is gone she is the one left that they can leech on. God knows what happens behind the scenes. No wonder she lives in NY. I don't see Janet doing this. She loved Michael very much...she has seen and been through hell in regards to the family, so I can't see this happening.

Janet has more important things to worry about (concerning her own career) then touring with her brothers that no one seems to care about.

Jermaine told everyone that Michael would return to the band but he knew that Michael did not want to perform with the Jacksons.

The Jacksons never returned and Janet blamed Michael for that.

Now Janet is the target of Jermaine and his lies.

I'm loving it.
 
I don't see Janet being all that pressed for a Jackson reuion, it was more like if it hapneds it happends Ill support it, , if not that's fine, she obviously went ahead and did her own thing anyway, and I don't see this "pressure" like some of you are making it and I recall her even going out the way not to mention Michael, just some of the borthers are working out on theire solo careers and she even said that's fine and you have to respect that. so where is this "evil" ,"disgusted', or "blame" and blame Michael coming from I don't know . cause she clearly never even had the attuide about it.
the brothers should have taken a que and did there own thing like she did if performing was all that important to them, but like what was noticed even on the show not even all the brothers are even pressed to perfomr again more so Jermaine and Tito, and if it's important to them than they should do their own thing.

That is what I think they should do and stop worrying about being huge stars again. Many stars do very well monetarily and fanbase wise on a smaller scale.

History gets repeated ... don't it? This time with Janet .. well moving on.
Jermaine should just do his own little thing even if it's small clubs or whoever his audience is, he wasted almost 30 years of his life, doing nothing besides spreading rumors Michael would join. Jermaine is a very talented man and it's a damn shame that this 55/56 year old man isn't able to get a ground for himself, despite being Michael Jackson's older brother. I feel for him when I read/listen people refer to him as ''Michael Jackson's older brother'', that seems to be all he is now. I know it would upset me if I were him. :(
 
I don't understand y it's even considered a responsibility for Jan to perform with her brothers seeing as she wasn't in the Jackson 5 to begin with...if she does it then great if not then they should be able to go on without her...I adore the Jackson brothers but I'm sure they are aware that not too many people would be interested in seein them if Jan was not involved...me being the true fan I am I would pay to see them on stage again regardless

bingo they could have a career of there own if they wanted, they could still be doing club tours like you said, I could see them doing house of blues tours, and music festevials heck Tom joyner offered them a spot on to perform on the fantastic voyage crusie. the problem is their egos want let that happend , it seems like they are stuck in the 1970's and think they can sale out staduims ,they just need to be realistic about the situion and go from there. and that's another problem with Jermaine he doesn't want to get out of Michael's umbrealla sorta to speak he's comfrontable using Michael for publcity it seems and doesn't take time to establish himself, so people just know him as "michaels brother" because he always talking about Michael.

Exactly. But I think they want thing big, they way they had it during the Victory tour...I wrote they, but it is really Jermaine.

The only Jackson I could see myself supporting right now is Jackie. I respect this man so so much.

I hope he does his own thing.
 
Jackie seems to be a sweetheart indeed. Same here Memefan, I wouldn't mind supporting Jackie if he'd do something of his own.

I did not really know Jackie until MJ passed away, but he has been a true class act, just like his brother was. From his Oprah interview to his TMZ clips...he is really the one that I could spend my hard-earned cash for.

The brothers are on the lazy side I must say. The big shows etc is not going to happen without Michael. They should have continue when Michael went solo.
