man, I always try to pray for those Jacksons because they lost someone who was such a good person and so demeaned by the media. I always say "life goes on" when I think about MJ not being here. I can't just grieve my whole life, I have to keep moving and I know MJ wouldn't want people always crying and grieving and not living their life to its fullest potential. I also say that because I have to stop myself from crying from it.

I'm sad about MJ passing, and I just can't imagine how Janet is feeling being a little sister that looked up to her older brother.....it's heartbreaking. I have an older brother and I just couldn't fathom(don't want to) what she is going through.

Please fill me in, what ''movies'' are you referring to? Moonwalker? Ghosts? Apart from that tiny cameo in MIIB Michael Jackson was in no movies, unless you are referring to ''Mist Cast Away'' LOL!

The lack of calling was not just on Janet. She said she'd called him and he wouldn't call her back, but she'd hear how he was doing through their mother. MJ was apparently notorious for not only not calling back, but changing his phone number.

In any event, I don't think there is any doubt these two loved each other greatly. And it's one thing not to hear from a love one for a period of time, and another to know you'll NEVER hear their voice again.

Go and read my posts I never claimed it was solely her fault. I said both were at fault.

your bitterness towards Janet is disgusting! Maybe, she was implying that she hasn't spoken to Mike in a long time in order to avoid further questions about him. Have you ever thought about that?

There's actually an magazine interview which MJ interrupted. It was sometime in '04 or '05.

Okay, sorry for the misread. I just don't think being regularly in touch mattered to either of them. When they needed each other, they were there.

ya poor janet she said on robin roberts interview that she still waits for the phone to ring & the way she said it... was heartbreaking. I cried when she said that.
 
This is hard to read now. I get tired of people saying the same old fans think They know about MJ's daily life. We are going by what He said himself and actually documented statements at least I do. Hell no some of us didn't know him but he didn't know us either but he believed we believed in him. So I will absorb all of the idiotic insults that some fans keep saying we don't know what the hell we are talking about. We do you know what you are talking about. You know we are all in the same boat. NO MJ. Rip Michael.

He probably has tried to contact her through dreams. She may be blocking that out. But she should be more receptive to those thoughts. He will contact her when the time is right.

I'm a Janet lifer and I too was a bit, um, startled when she said "to you he's an icon, to us he's family"... While I understand clearly what she meant, I felt and still feel to this day that Michael Jackson is my brother, family. Again I understand her point but thought maybe it should have been said slightly different.

I love you Janet and Michael for LIFE.

That is what made Prince's speech where he addressed and acknowledged our importance and his fathers love toward us so different. I always keep saying that Michael had a different kind of appreciation toward his fans -us- even Travis Payne said this. Michael was special in every way Katherine should consider herself blessed to have given birth to someone as unique as Michael.

Uhm, given what you've just posted, are you actually saying that just to avoid talking about her brother, she would actually deliberately choose to not speak to him just so she does'nt have to talk about him? that would be like the dumbest thing....

Honestly, it wouldn't be surprising because in an interview Rebbie said the exact same thing. She said she didn't speak to MJ in over a year. That is CRAZY! From what came out in multiple sources after MJ's death was that he wasn't close to anyone post trial.

Somethings telling me that Janet is hurting more on the inside than what she shows on the outside..I know that they were the closest out of all the siblings, so I think it may be affecting her more than what we think..

*sends hugs to janet* she's a strong women, i know this is difficult for her but she'll get thru this hard time. i think things will get better once the doctor is charged and hopefully convicted, the pain will always be there but she and everyone(family,friends,fans) who loved michael will learn to live with it. just keep michael in ur heart and use him as inspiration.

From the way it looked, that was not true! From all the pics we saw of the Jacksons last year and in 2008, she appeared close with everyone except for Michael. Janet, Latoya, and Jermaine were seen everywhere together in pics. At ONE TIME probably, but that seemed to change in the late 90s and late 00s. MJ basically disappeared after trial and didn't come back for a while to the USA.
