Jackson mom eyes MJ impersonators

She went to see the Legends show not just an MJ impersonator.
The matriarch of the Jackson family attended the "Legends in Concert" show Friday night at Harrah's Las Vegas,
But even if she was invited to watch a show by a MJ impersonator there is no reason to be angry or judge her like its some crime (sheesh) . IMO some of the reactions here are unreasonable, unjustified and uncalled for behavior. In fact you could say creepier than the picture

I dont get fans attacking, judging and being so insensitive over something so trivial like its just so much fun to attack Michael's Mother that you will seek out any reason to do so no matter how far fetched or trivial it is. Some of you scare me . Its like you feel being rude, hateful and insensitive is something fun and something to be proud of. Ive been around a long time and seen it all. We use to be able to pride ourselves as not taking part in the hatefulness of the world or like other message boards. MJ fan boards were different, kinder and wanting to make a difference for Michael's sake. I fear the world is creeping in on us or some are allowing it to change you .. rather then you trying to change it . Please promise that we will never stop trying to make Michael proud and continue to uphold his Legacy to heal the world with his music and message

I don't think it's strange for Katherine to pose with one but for the impersonator, I don't but I find it shameless so to be clear for all the folks in here when I said I find it shameless, I was referring to the impersonator not Katherine.

Wow. Someone please tell me why this angers you all so much? Katherine went to see an MJ impersonator and took a photo with him. Have I missed something?
Have to agree. There's no reason to go after her for this.

So she got invited to see a show. Maybe she thought it would be fun and went. Can the woman please enjoy a fun night out....
Maybe the impersonator asked her for a photo. She seems like a really sweet woman so she didn't decline the question and took to photo.

Big deal!!

Personally the fact she had this picture taken doesnt bother me. It's just the picture itself that's... weird, unsettling, and yes, a bit creepy. :ermm: And to be honest, makes me sad.

Thanks for speaking up. In my opinion, some of the reactions here are creepier than the picture itself.

So, Katherine went to see an impersonator show and had a picture taken with an impersonator. So? What had she done wrong here? This is such a trivial matter. It's creepy to see some are trying to find any excuse they can to criticize an elderly woman.

It's beyond me that some are assuming she's eyeing for an impersonator for a reunion show. Totally baselss.

There is nothing creepy about posing with an impersonator. There is nothing creepy about a picture with an impersonator. There are Elvis impersonator, Madonna impersonator, Beatles impersonators. Do we call all those impersonators creepy and shameless? There is a street performer who dressed like Michael and danced like Michael in front of my office building all the time. There is nothing creepy and shameless about him. I understand how impersonators can look funny. But, creepy as if they have done something wrong? For goodness sake, they do a show for a living. What's so shameless about working to make a living? What's so creepy about posing for a picture with the mother of the man he admired?

Michael himself didn't mind people imitate him. Fans dressed like him. Omar Bhati first got Michael's attention because he's a very good mini Michael Jackson impersonator. Michael knew it's all out from admiration.

What have we become? Why so cynical all the time? Our perception is a mirror of ourselves. What we are saying about people are getting similar to what people were saying about Michael.

Sounds like s grasping as straws article. although nothing would surprise me

That is what I was thining too. There is nothing in this article but someone wondering why Katherine was somewhere. Katherine has a right to go to any show she wants to. I guess someone is trying to make some news.

Once more! lol

I think we should take a deep breath and listen to Tabloid Junkie before we get all wound up. We should know better.

Still... that picture...

Nothing coming from any Jackson remotely surprises me at this point.

The uk daily mail picked this story up too. The media's laziness in continually confusing the role of mj's estate and family in mj's legacy is deeply irriatating. What has mrs j's visit to an impersonator got to do with cirque? I get the distinct impression that the media wd have loved the family to have been in control of mj's estate with their well-known history of hapless projects so they could have more to add to their campaign of ridicule post-death. Branca/mcclain aren't giving them much to work with.

At this point, I think any journalist wannabe out there is ready to use Michael's name whether they talk about socks or the fascinating growth of cabbage.

Creepy. Creepy. Creepy.

Another upcoming venture...? A Jackson 4 tour maybe?

There is no story in that article, except a woman going to a show. Let her enjoy herself. In this instance she has done nothing wrong. She simply went to a show and took a picture with someone just like we take pictures with entertainers. It is not her fault that the writer of the article reads something sinister into this situation. Let's think about this, if someone wants to use an impersonator, usually they will simply call a number of them to come in for an audition and pick which one they like. They will not run around the world buying tickets to shows and then dicide who they want.

the second one has definate simularities in the face.. Ive seen that video before and I always though.. (is it just me?) that his head looks really small compared to his body?? haha Im sorry but I see it every time.. watch the wide shots where you can see the body..

Yeah that pic is creepy!

If Katherine wants to see nice impersonator, she can go see Firestone, he'll be in Phoenix at the same time as the Immortal show. He's a sweetheart and does a good job, and he sings live.

(yeah I'm quoting myself, lol)

Funny that I talked about Michael Firestone.. and I just saw that Randy just went to see his show :D pics on his facebook with Randy..
(btw, it's not the fact that Katherine goes to an impersonator show that I find creepy, it's the guy on the pic!!! HE looks creepy)

Agree. I have no problem with Katherine going to an impersonator show. The impersonator itself is creepy.

Is this impersonator very popular or is he new on the scene??
