Was Katherine Jackson on a scouting mission to check out a Michael Jackson tribute artist for business reasons, or was it a case of a mother missing her son?


The matriarch of the Jackson family attended the "Legends in Concert" show Friday night at Harrah's Las Vegas, prompting speculation that she might be taking part in a talent search for a family venture.


"Legends" has long featured the top Jackson tribute artists.


Could the Jackson family and Cirque du Soleil be considering the addition of an MJ impersonator to bolster the lineup of "The Immortal" World Tour? The show returns to the road after its three-week run at Mandalay Bay ends Tuesday.


Asked whether that scenario might be in the works, Maxime Charbonneau, publicist for "The Immortal," said Katharine Jackson's presence at "Legends in Concert" was "nothing related to 'The Immortal'?" and she declined to comment on Jackson's personal activities.


Cirque's resident version of "The Immortal" is scheduled to open at Mandalay Bay in early 2013.


Cirque has steadfastly resisted having impersonators in lead roles in The Beatles' show "Love," which opened in 2006 at The Mirage, and "Viva Elvis," which is closing soon at Aria at CityCenter after less than two years.

Did she think about use mj impersonators to make a reunion tour come true so they could kept milking fans. The news about her sons planned concert tours just reported a couple days ago and now she was checking on mj impersonators, coincidence? consider their history of treating michael like the commodity and their desperation for money and attention, I don't think so.

NO not to our knowledge she didnt. There was never any mention of it. It wouldnt go over very well.
Jackson's know how fans would reject that idea.

Who said she was checkign out impersonaters ? There is no evidence of that. She went to see a show. i think You read to much into that with any evidence .

Yes they have a history but so far there is no evidence of her doing any of this to even be called a coinsidence yet.

They are just titilating and sensationalisng the fact Katherine when to see the Legends show. Immortal tour has nothign to do with that anymore thet The J3 tours does. Tito Marlon and Jackie know fans would bulk over them using a impersonater. I dont think even they would like that idea of inserting a fake MJ in their act. I would be very suprised if they ever did such foolish thing.
 
Sounds like s grasping as straws article. although nothing would surprise me

If Katherine wants to see nice impersonator, she can go see Firestone, he'll be in Phoenix at the same time as the Immortal show. He's a sweetheart and does a good job, and he sings live.
 
That photo is just.....ugh! creepy is not the word I'm looking for.
 
While it may make us feel some kind of way it is really no different then LMP taken a PIC with an Elvis impersonator.
 
Maybe she was being nice and the man wanted a picture with her. I don't know.

I dont think the Jackson's would have the nerve to do something like that..the fans,,,yeah,,,we would go COMPLETELY insane..I can already see that IF something like this were to EVER happen. I like the rest of you ,,find that picture....nauseating, :puke:
 
I find it creepy and strange.. Her son just died 2 1/2 years ago, taking a pic with an impersonator is just inappropriate to me:doh:

I find it sickening too. I believe the Jackson's have the nerve to do something like that. I don't put anything past them at all
 
I agree the picture looks kind of creepy. but she was probably asked to take the photo while back stage. That seems reasonable to me

I dont get fans attacking, judging and being so insensitive over something so trivial like its just so much fun to attack Michael's Mother that you will seek out any reason to do so no matter how far fetched or trivial it is. Some of you scare me . Its like you feel being rude, hateful and insensitive is something fun and something to be proud of. Ive been around a long time and seen it all. We use to be able to pride ourselves as not taking part in the hatefulness of the world or like other message boards. MJ fan boards were different, kinder and wanting to make a difference for Michael's sake. I fear the world is creeping in on us or some are allowing it to change you .. rather then you trying to change it . Please promise that we will never stop trying to make Michael proud and continue to uphold his Legacy to heal the world with his music and message
 
Wow. Someone please tell me why this angers you all so much? Katherine went to see an MJ impersonator and took a photo with him. Have I missed something?
