Jackson Kids Involved in Car Accident *UPDATE* Children are OKAY

I woke up this morning with this terrible thought in my head that MJ´s kids were hurt in an accident. I´ve spend hours convincin myself that they are okay before I turned on my computer.

I am glad they were not hurt

Or anyone for that matter. I mean do you have any idea how many paps get fined for speeding? a lot. Usually more than once. I don't see how someone can be chasing a car or group of cars whilst properly paying attention to the road and other cars around them. And you know they get paid in the tens or hundreds of thousands for some exclusive pictures... really a lot of them don't need to be out there everyday doing this, just a few months of work and they'd have earned a full year's salary. Many work freelance so they decide their own hours and then sell their shots on to picture agencies, like getty images, who then sell them on to magazines, tabloids, gossip sites, etc. It's only the ones who are hired long-term by the likes of TMZ that I think are actually required as part of their job to be sitting outside the Jackson home day after day. Most are freelance like I said, they all drive expensive sports cars and live in big luxury homes in uptown L.A. They don't need to work most of the time! They do it out of greed because what they already have isn't enough for them.

The sad thing is it's not only the paparazzi who are chasing the Jackson family but also some crazy fans! :evil: Recently I read on another forum that fans followed a family member with their car filming them until they got shaken off ... :no::no::no: ... and they even found this funny, were proud of that and did not even realize what this meant to that person concerned!

i dont believe thats the case. for the last 2 weeks they have been going to karate classes on a wednesday. all the paps do is sit outside the house and when many cars leave together they follow. they have prob followed loads of cars and the kids were never even in them.

seems security was doing its job as that why the car following the kids car got hit and thankfully not the one carrying the kids. it did its job. yeah id prefer a professional driver instead of grace. that needs to be changed imo. but tbh this sort of thing was gonna happen regardless of mj being here or not. in 06 in london i was in a taxi in the middle of a pap chase with mj. the paps were crazy. the stakes now are higher cause theres prob even more money to be made out of the kids pics now the paps know they wont be convered. get the masks back out. and u lose the desire from the paps as there less/no money to be made

I can't believe the press is doing this to KIDS! When the tabloids chase celebrities they always justify it by saying "they earn a lot of money and they should accept it as a part of their job", but what do they justify with that they chase kids?

I never liked all these reports of MJ's kids going to karate class, going to Liz Taylor, doing this, doing that. I was like: "why can't they leave them alone?"
 
I dont know how someone could live with themselves if they caused the death of a child!

thats too much really ! thank god they're okay but this is going to happen again and again untill something bad happens ! somebody need to take an action and say THATS ENOUGH before it's too late

michael knew all this and he was totally aware of , i can only think of poor debbie she must be torn apart right now because she can't do anything :(

A paparazzo was charged with misdemeanor hit and run Wednesday, after fleeing the scene of a minor car accident with one of the Jackson family's security vehicles in California's San Fernando Valley, the LAPD Van Nuys Division told RadarOnline.com.


Michael Jackson's three children, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, were being driven to their karate class at the Dawn Barnes Karate center at about 2:20 p.m. by their grandmother, Katherine, who was being trailed by security guards.


A paparazzo allegedly rear ended a Cadillac Escalade (the kids were not onboard) at the Woodman Avenue off-ramp of the 101 freeway, then drove off without swapping details.


Police said that damages were minor and no one was hurt; they will continue to investigate the incident.

I was shocked when I read the headline...but thank god, they are okay...

Now all the idiots who called Michael a bad father because of the masks can go to hell..

Idon't think any of us would have ever thought anything like this would NOT happen. It says the paps followed them from the Encino home. They were sitting there, lying in wait for someone to leave. They probably had the house staked out waiting for someone to leave. The Jacksons can only protect the kids to a certain point. They still have to live their normal lives regardless of what is going on in the rest of the world. I applaud the family for giving the kids "normal" things to do such as karate lessons. I think they may need them, all things concidered. As for the paps, we could not have expected anything less from them. These are the children of the most famous man of the past 2000 years, so of course, any photos of them doing "normal" things would be worth a lot of money to somebody. We may not approve of their methods of getting them, which I think is appalling, but they are American and have a right to try to get them. As for all the bashing of the Jackson family members, some of you seem to forget the source is a tabloid entity which have low scruples to start with so why would you believe their sources are from within the family just because they say they are? We know they have a tendency to make things up and make them appear as though the source came from within the family. There is nothing about the statement "Joe called Katherine and says the kids are ok and not hurt." Where is the validity in that statement that TMZ spoke to anyone in the Jackson family for that information. You all are going to have to learn to find the truth among the garbage.
 
i looked up their karate school, the damn schedule is posted online. so im scared. it sux that htey can't have a normal life, have scheduled things. looks like a different teacher each day so if they want that teacher, they have to go on wednesdays...this is pathetic.

someone needs to say something about this before something worse hap pens

I agree with what you wrote, except this last part. Randy and Joe are often speaking with Harvey Levin. I don't think TMZ is lying about this. For example, yesterday, with the will thing, Harvey said it himself on TMZ Live: "I talked to Randy Jackson", "I talked to Weitzman". He's probably the one who talked to Joe too. Levin has never hidden the fact that he is the one talking to these people. If these family members didn't speak with TMZ, they can deny it anytime they want, they can issue a statement saying Levin is lying. But I don't remember them doing it.
 
these kids, are gonna live a though life. That's all I say, I pray they're doin oke now nd in future.. And I agree about the masks. DR wanted the kids to wear them when they lived with MJ, what about now? Why isnt she saying to put back the masks when that was the only thing she requested? Im not blaming her ppl im just saying..

Oh dear, I had some troubles with the internet connection yesterday and I can't believe thisssss is what I find when logging back. The damn paparazzi are dreadful. Thankfully the kids are ok. This can NOT happen again. I'm sure the family will take the right measures to protect them. God bless them all.

How do we know that it was paparazzi if the person got away? We really don't what the motive was until they catch the person.

Everything you say is true. Thank you for being a voice of reason. Despite all the problems Michael loved his family. I am not sure what he would think of people bashing them. I know he would hate anyone criticizing his mother. And most of the horrific statements supposedly coming from the Jackson family are from tabloids. Of all people, Michael's fans should be saavy enough to take all of that with a grain of salt.
I think our emotions are running high because we are so angry at these disgusting stalkers for harrassing his children. But the fault lies with the tabloids and everyone who reads them, buys them or believes their crap stories. Unfortunately, it seems that includes a lot of Michaels fans.
