Jackson Brothers Planning A World Tour

They'll probably FAIL, Big Time.......

Without Michael, there's no appeal to them..........

Unless they give all the profit to charity, it will be just another attempt to cash in on their brothers death!!!!!

But I guess that it will end up like Jermaine's Tribute concert did....in the gutter!!!!

I'd go if they do the following:

1. Money (at least some of it) goes to charity
2. The show is dedicated to Michael. There was recently an Elvis concert where his band was performing live but Elvis was performing on a giant screen. Perhaps they can do something like that except with the brothers singing live and Michael on the screen? There's certainly enough concert footage out there to make it possible.

Too bad they'd never do that =(

kinda sums it up.what was stopping them for all these years.now mjs gone they know theres no point constantly harassing him to do it so suddenly they decide to go on tour now.another example of them cashing in. no ones intrested n seeing them heck if janet cant sell in europe what hope do these have.then again u hope they don make money cause then they wont have to sell stories to tabs about mj instead

I wish the brothers well, BUT I have no interest in seeing them.

And their World Tour wishes seems like a pipe-dream to me. They maybe able to do small venue's like Tito sometimes does, but I just don't see a World Tour in their future. And to tell you the truth, I don't think the brothers, collectively, are interested in doing small, intimate venues, that's why they waited on Michael to join them all of these years.

In my opinion, they want to create the "days of old," and sadly, those days are over for them.

People need to make up their minds. They obviously were trying to do something before MJ died. They can't sit on their butts because MJ died worrying about what people thinks. MJ didn't live for THEM when he was living and not now in death. They are obviously trying to do something with themselves. What do people expect them to do? They are musicians, plain and simple. If you don't want to go, just don't.smh

Those brothers have been all over the place doing their stuff. Marlon has been spending a lot of time in Nigeria working with the government and Tito and jermaine have been in Europe. it is just that the media has not been focussing on them cause they could get more money slandering Mj and mocking .
latoya has done countless interviews on high profile chatshows, it is all on youtube, so they have all been out and about, including joe jackson.
I really do not know what SOME fans want them to do, it is very disturbing what some fans have allowed themselves to become after Mj's passing.

Maybe it's the anger part of the grief period. Maybe when the anger part subsides it would get a bit better.

I am a Jackson fam fan, but I am so scared to defend them because of some critics may try to confront me and I don't feel like fighting. But I can't believe the tabs and gossip articles when it comes to the family. The Jacksons are people just like their family member Michael, that are picked on by the media and I am sadly wary of believing anything bad about the Jacksons in the media from the same sources that demonized Micheal and continues to demonize him even in death.

the Jacksons are planning a tour...in other news the sky is blue
no seriously how many times did we hear this before? I have to see it happening for once...and then we have to see the outcome too because success will not be guaranteed just because of their name

:| I feel angry and sad at the same time. I will not see this.. old men singing songs like ABC and I want you back? Only Michael can do that.. sorry!!

I support them, but I wouldn't go just because it would be way too sad for me.

I'd go if they used Michael's vocal recordings. Otherwise it would just make me cry to hear someone else singing Michael's parts. It's up to them how they want to do it though; they were big stars and made history and they deserve to have their last hurrah.

Doubt they will use michaels vocals. Jermaine would never give up the chance to sing lead and finally get the spotlight.

I would love to see them if they had Mike on a big screen behind them. It would feel empty and odd to have them on their own without him and I certainly don't want to hear those songs sung by anyone else.
From the 2 episodes of the documentary so far, I see no real drive and passion towards creating something special for this concert, Mike was the real spark and creative drive in group and without him then I find it hard to imagine that it will be a sucess.

no ones intrested n seeing them

Well some people here seem to be interested.

A world tour I'm not sure..they could start with smaller venues in the USA first and see how that goes..

If they happened to come to the UK I'd be interested in going. I'd be watching it missing Michael so much but I like the Jackson 5. Who doesn't like that music?

That would be the massive question.. who would do Michael's parts..

If they did the concert in the right way then I'd really consider going.

hell no. even if it is dedicated to Michael, thats maybe the last thing i wil go to. SURE they're doing this for Michael too but their number one is freakn money.

I can only wish a lot of good luck to them. :)

Without Michael is not the same and never will be. There is no magic and emotion. Michael has always been the brightness of the group. Michael was ALWAYS the essence of the group. It is a fact.

The idea of this tour is only one reason: money...and secondly to honor Michael. I really do not expect much of this tour.

Aren't the legally bound to perform because of that contract before MJs death.. that MJ was getting sued for?

LOL! ...and Jermaine up front wearing some Prince outfit.

there was no contract signed by anyone.allgood were only intrested in getting mj hence why the estate is being sued yet none of the bros are.i doubt len rowe cares now about getting the bros to perform.mj was the cash cow hes to busy trying to get 300mill off mjs estate while joe hangs with him hoping no doubt for a cut

I don't know about them being sued but on their show The Family Dynesty they have a meeting with Virgil Roberts an attorney (who works with them on business opportunities). He tells them that an issue has come up because they had an agreement with the promoter to perform before mjs death and the promoter thinks a sufficient time has passed since mjs death now and wants them to honour their agreement or else he'll go public and embarrass the family. Jermaine tells him 'we're still mourning, tell him goodbye'. Marlon says 'but we have an agreement that we've already excecuted', Tito agrees with Marlon. That was about 1 show though I think, not a tour.

Its here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IglFN5zOAY

There is some footage of the funeral and the brothers talking about mjs death, Jackie crying.. just to warn you.. but the meeting starts at about 5.00 if you wanna skip past that.

I have a feeling they talked about being sued in another part .. but some of the videos have been removed. Maybe I was imagining it..

Well demand for the Jacksons has been non-existent since Thriller was released. I mean the Victory tour was all about Michael. It'll be a failure if they don't dedicate to Michael.

And if they do decide to dedicate it to Michael, they'll have to donate profits to charity otherwise everyone will accuse them of milking their deceased brother and that'll make them even more unpopular!!!!!!!
