Interesting story about the shows from the "inside"

lol, at anyone believing drama llama mr future. this is the same person who made a thread on the same board about mj being a pedophile in love with j chandler...very credible indeed.

Seems some fans believe anything, but if what you say is true then egg on the faces of thoese who hold this statement as credible!

I have to stop coming here. It's so frustrating that people believe this stuff just because. Any TINIer or their followers could have made this up to validate their campaign. Anybody can make anything up.
If it was a possitive story would people believe it? TINI would say it's just AEG spin.

Have we as MJ fans learned nothing about made up stories? Have we learned nothing about the things that can be spread as truth on the internet even with no proof? No names? Nothing!
TINI people won't identify themselves and here is another story from someone hiding behind the internet. I think I'm about to give up.

I'm not saying there wasn't tension and frustration. I'd bet money that there was. Even someone as sweet as MJ can't like and get along with everybody. But these were professionals. All of them. This wasn't the first show they'd ever put on. It would have been done and it would have been great.

Right Startrader already pointed out that the poster of this on KOPBoard posted unreliable articles from before, but lets looks at this, not about what was said but about the supposed "leaker" of this info

Met Michael 20 Years Ago
Appeared In The Film
Name In The Credits
On Holiday In Miami

Wants to remain anonymous??????? It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who this guy is lol

AEG would find out who this is very easily and action would be taken, again people its right infront of you! Just Like TINI smoke a mirrors

I think they were "business friends" but not necessarily "friends friends". (Meaning that they were / could workd together on several projects for 20-30 years but I don't think that they would hang out after work and go to vacation together etc).

Also personally for me the movie shows that how MJ is at control of everything. He's not only the artist but he is also the director. Watch "behind the scenes for ghosts", in that one you'll see MJ giving orders and the director saying "In case you haven't noticed I am the director", a very similar thing happens with John Landis at Thriller.

What I am trying to say that I think that Kenny Ortega realizes that MJ is the boss, MJ is the decision maker and MJ is the director so Kenny takes a side position. Kenny lets MJ run the show and takes a side helper position. And yes this looks like sucking up to him. But I actually find it very nice and unique. Ortega is one of the hottest directors around now due to HSM series, but still you see him put his ego or whatever aside and just accept that MJ is the ultimate boss. He also adds this to the film as well. I personally give him props for doing this.

yeah, he's just a "fan" who likes to shit stir and feel important.

For F*** sake people look, this is a shit stiring fan, who watched the film and has made alot of stuff up, its still here on the news and its speculation! If you dont wish to look for sense then keep reading into this, but its proven wrong in so many aspects, this thread should be removed!!! At least from the news section

So what if this is real, we need more info about the last days of his life. The part with Michael being humle and sensitive and always saying ''with love'' shows he was infact insecure, even when he was irritated and upset at the earpiece he always said it ''with love'' to not upset anyone, I think he tried his upmost to give the arena a good vibe and the crew a good vibe but I noticed too that even if Michael was in good shape and was dancing and interacting, he did look really passive and sad and humble.. Something was wrong and I cant put my finger on it.

ITA...I've read he was too demanding and now he was an ass kisser. There's no winning. He was handpicked by Michael to bring HIS vision to the stage. He was the director and at the same time respectful of his boss.

I think the something wrong was the aftermath of the trial and years of abuse from the press. How could his confidence not be shaken after everything he had gone through?

Indeed you are right.. I wish it didnt have to be that way, we all tried so hard to support him and make him come back into the music industry, but who am I to say he was unaffected by it? Somedays I think so, because he always seemed to strong and powerful.. But I hadnt seen him much in the limelight after 2004 so I really couldnt tell how much it had affected him.. Sad I know... I really thought he would come out of it unharmed and more confident like ever before, like he did with ''HIstory''.

It broke my heart to see how humble he was.. And how he complained ''with love''. I know the pressure was immense on Michael but I wish he didnt put so much pressure on himself, I would have loved him either way... Who cares if the concerts would have been postponed or cancelled? I believe the pressure is what killed him... Sigh..

My thoughts exactly...

u think the mere fact that the dances weren't complete, the screens, the cues all of that? it takes a lot to make a cohesive show.

this person said this in confidence. notmaking money off of it. so y would we doubt it?

Why doubt it? Because the movie contradicts most of it... you do realize that the movie was comprised of several different rehearsals over the period of a couple of weeks? Look at the rehearsals from June 23 (Red Shirt/Gray Jacket) and June 24 (Curls for My Girls). They're MUCH more complete than the others... the screens were up, they were getting the props into action, etc. They had 8 days left before they left for London and the only number that they hadn't run through with the props (with the exception of WATW/HTW which was being done in London) was Dirty Diana and it was being done the day Michael died.

With 8 days left, I'm sure they would have been doing full run throughs of the show before they left, giving them time to do dress rehearsals before opening night on the 13th.

And the dancing? It looked done to me... the "chunk" pieces where MJ fell in line with his dancers and they danced together were very smooth and polished... look at Jam, TDRCAU, TWYMMF, Thriller, Beat It just to name a few... the times where MJ is off by himself he's able to improvise, and it was a REHEARSAL he wasn't giving it 100% bc it's just a runthrough...

And you can tell a big difference in the WBSS/Jam performance from June 23rd and the one from the forum (silver jacket/organge jeans)... Michael's moves were MUCH more polished.

ITA...the intrinsic pressure Michael put on himself for these shows was probably insurmountable. This was his big comeback and he was going to make it a never before seen experience.

Funny thing, as much as I loved TII, I think I would have been just as happy seeing him sitting in the middle of a stage, singing his tunes, shuffling his feet around with the beat, and just smiling and talking to the audience.

Michael thought he had to give us far more than he had to at this point. He didn't know his showmanship had already satisfied us beyond compare.
We didn't want much from him now than to see he was really okay. I would have happily paid for that as well.
