So Michael Jackson, are you trying to get through to me that you are supporting the idea of my taking this class? lol. So last week I notice on the syllabus that for this week she had put down the title "Do You Remember the Time" :timer: for the class discussion.
I thought, hmm, nah, she must not be referring to MJ's song.
And then on the way home on the car radio, and this is rare for that song,
Remember the Time started playing on my station...I was like "woah...confirmation, I AM supposed to take this class, Michael's talking to me!" lol.
Well, today in class we are studying Egypt (the class is
History of Costume) and sure enough, the professor says, "I've got a treat for you; we are going to watch a clip, and it is so good." And then MJ's
Remember the Time short film proceeds to play up on the wall.
I couldn't see the expressions of the other students while watching, but I could see the prof's and she was smiling the whole way through it. And afterwards, she says, "Only nine minutes long and look how much effort they put to detail in the set designs and the costumes...I love it!" She really did go on and on. We discussed what he was wearing and what just about everybody else in the video was wearing, too.
I'm not sure if she is an MJ fan, but she is obviously a big fan of MJ's
Remember the Time short film.
So the class was quite enjoyable for me today, and I think MJ is somewhere out there in the cosmos giving me his approval.
