The spoken intro was removed from certain later releases after 1993, apparently because lyrically it can trigger weird and dark connotations (given the singer's child sexual abuse accusations against him).

Please stop spreading nonsene. Several songs on the Bad album were replaced by their 7" mixes in 1988.

Finally, to get back to the original subject, I love IJCSLY. Michael's voice, the song, the sweet words, Siédah's voice... and this intro that melts my heart into sugar... ✺◟(♥ᗜ♥)◞✺

But (big mistake) they removed the intro because some people complained about the discomfort it caused. I can understand it even if I find it really unfortunate too. Personally I couldn't listen to the intro in public without being moved. Very personal, very deep and suave...
