That is really shit, Not only are they getting them for free they are gonna get them before the majority of us!

Sorry to change the subject kind of, But can one of you people who are lucky enough to have received their tickets tell me the size of it? Both length and height please, It can be in cm or inches whatever is easiest :)

I just want to know cause i want to find something to preserve my ticket in

Thanks

People are more annoyed at spending hundreds of pounds on tickets while in LA they are being given away for free rather than the promise of them being sent out within the month...

Yes exactly took the words out of my mouth!!!! Its not fair not only do i have to get over the loss of Michael but to keep the last thing that means anything to me they get to keep my money! Can gaurentee most of them will end upon ebay to!!!!

First of all I just want to say Hi because this is my first post on this forum :)

I just read this whole thread from the begining because I, like the rest of you am waiting for my souvenir tickets to come (August 26th) I was SO annoyed that's it's nearly the end of September and the tickets still hadn't come (I thought it was ridiculous in the first place that we had to pay for these tickets, they should have given them to us for free as they knew full well how devestated all his fans were about his death) but I was slightly relieved when some of you started posting pictures of the tickets you had recieved recently (it's nice of them to include the memorial booklet, I wasn't expecting that) so I started feeling more positive about the whole ticket situation until I read that they are giving FIVE HUNDRED tickets away for FREE. ARE THEY JOKING????
I am so pissed off I can't even put it into words. This the biggest insult ever. The fact that they had the cheek in the first place to offer the tickets in lieu of a refund, but now they are just giving them away for free? The thing that saddens me the most about this whole situation is you know for a fact that most people that turn up for the free tickets aren't going to be fans, but people who want to earn some money selling the tickets on ebay. So instead of these tickets being in the hands of Michael's most loyal fans who wanted to keep them as a sentimental souvienir they're now going to be all over the place being sold for profit.

I really am so upset by this :-(

Hi. Welcome to MJJC. :)
Yes, it's unbelievable that they are doing this. Everyone should have just been given their refund and a ticket.
They have the time to print and give out 500 free tickets but not ours apparently. The ones we paid a lot of money for!
It's dispicable behaviour.

this would really upset michael, he hated his fans being ripped off. :( it's dispicable what they are doing.

I was just thinking the very same. Michael would be very upset.

I could never understand also why a person who paid £150 did not get a part refund as well as ticket, when you think another person just paid £75. Know what I mean? Mine was £75 by the way.

It must cost only about £10-£15 each anyway.

Randy Philips is having a laugh at us.

those lenticulars are cheap to make, especially in bulk like that. i have millions, my dad used to send them to me when i was little. it's ridiculous that also people that paid for £55 tickets get the same. i paid £85 all together with the booking charge thing. not fair. i have to work so hard for my money, i don't earn a lot and my job is shitty. rant over lol
i now need to go away to the manhood thread to put myself in a positive frame of mind lol

Were there £150 tickets? I thought the £75 ticket was the most expensive.

I agree with you though, if people did pay that much for their ticket they should have got a part refund aswell as a souvenir ticket.

This whole thing sucks.

i was also so confused when i got my £75 tickets cause me seats were in the place furthest away from the stage. madness!

After thinking for a bit, I remembered the reason why I oped for the tickets in the first place. It for me, it was never for the money. It was for the fact I'd have an o2 ticket. To have proof that I was going to see the show in person and not just in a theater.

The tickets we will eventually get, are for the o2 shows. Not the theater show. I think of the value of the o2 tickets. How many people do you think will own these tickets worldwide? Out of the 1 million tickets sold back in March, I'm thinking about 50,000 opted for tickets. Some will get more than 1 ticket so I'm gonna guesstimate about 100,000 o2 tickets were printed. That's it. No more. Think about it this way, no ticket will look EXACTLY like the one for your o2 seat. Not one ticket will have your same date, block, and seat number on it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm upset on several things about how this was handled. It's horrible and Michael would never want use treated the way we are being treated now -_-

I have a question for those of you who already have your tickets. On the back of the holographic lenticular ticket, is there the name of the tour, seat number, time etc? Or is it just blank on the back..?

someone in this thread posted these. they're not mine.

I saw that picture but asumed the piece of paper on the right was seperate to the holographic ticket.

So that's the back of the holographic ticket? That makes it a lot cooler actually, I thought it was just going to be plain on the back lol

OK I was not actually joking when I said I will be going to a lawyer..
the case is pretty simple
I paid for tickets for a show
the show has been cancelled due to vis major - fair enough the promoter (AEG) has informed me and offered a refund
I have opted for a print off tickets purely for sentimental and emotional reasons.
When I registered my choice my transaction is no longer about the show the performance it is about purchasing a piece of paper from TM (it is not AEG the bad guy here)
Now it is3 months on and this has not been fulfilled by TM.
TM failed its duty of care in notifying me when the service is going to be fulfilled on their part several times.
TM failed offer a resolution and have been using my funds for almost 3 months now

I am waiting till 30Sept...come1 OCT and no ticket no news I am not sitting peaceful and quiet anymore.
