I believe 'Breaking News' lead vocals are not 100% MJ and I want to talk about it here

That's not the original acapella, strange. I still have it on my ipod, the voice in this video has been made deeper. Shenanigans on both sides, I tell ya.

So let me get this straight.

TPTB had a lot of doubt about these Cascio tracks. So much doubt that they hired forensic musicologists and played the songs for music biz experts and MJ specialists to get opinions and analyses. Just the fact that they had to go to such lengths should have raised a huge red flag for them right there. Yet the decision to include these tracks on the album gets approved, and amazing legitimate songs like DYKWYCA, BG, and STTR are left sitting in the vault.

Then, they decided that the first new MJ song that fans get to hear after years of waiting should be BN, one of these questionable tracks. Of course, scores of fans reacted negatively, protesting and complaining.

How exactly does this help to promote the product they want us to buy? Did they not want to sell as much as possible, and thus make as much money as possible?

Now, I read that Monster, another of these questionable tracks that fans are so upset about, has been earmarked as the next single to be released from the album. When there are a few others that are definitely legitimate (HT, BTM, AD,) and that could serve equally well as singles.

What in the hell is going on here? Why on earth is this happening?

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Why am I still living in the Twilight Zone regarding MJ?

What are TPTB trying to prove here, that MJ's voice/singing isn't as special as people think? That people can't even tell the difference? Do they actually prefer dragging MJ through the mud over making more money?

WTF?

(Btw, I don't think it's MJ on the three tracks, in case it isn't obvious.)

What's TPTB? And Another Day and Behind The Mask would fail as a single.

I think probably this is the reason why we have all these Cascio tracks. Michael probably didn't left behind a lot of songs those would be "hot" in today's charts (which BTW, isn't a bad thing since today's chart music mostly sucks IMO), but Sony are desperately trying to fit him in into this popular trend.

WHY MODS TAKE OUT MY THE POINTS BAR THAT IS UNDER MY AVATAR?

WHERE IS MY POINT BAR?

Incredible !!!!.

Also i can´t put any sign, they take out the option from my count.

Why, only because i belive is not MJ in the Cascio´s tracks?.

You know, now I'm sure that Breaking News is MJ in all lead vocal. Firstly try this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdY-o5w2ojY it's at a higher pitch and it sounds like MJ but Riley made MJ voice lower and it is why he sounds strange.

If You don't believe that producer can change vocal to be unrecognized, then try this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk2QKPUqrRw it is also MJ but in lower pitch. Can you recognize that this is Michael Jackson?!

So now just try to imagine that if amateur can change the voice on MJ song( like in the second movie), what can Riley do with Mike voice using totally professional studio?

After seeing that I think more and more that the lead is MJ in the cascio songs.
thanks for the great videos!

Ahahahaha 'Breaking...THE KNOWS!'. Sorry, I just find that bit of the song really funny, and its even funnier here.

Yeah it definately sounds like Malachi to me. To much to ignore.

Omg it's so obvious it isn't Michael lol

oh i know! The answer is staring me right in the face...or screaming right in my ear lol

:bugeyed

Do you really believe Hollywood Tonight is MJ and not Malachi or Jermine jackson !??

this song sounds very wierd !? i do not like it ! nothing is MJ in this song !

Hollywood Tonight doesn't have enough vocals from MJ in it. I even think one of the verses is repeated. If it's not MJ singing on the song like you say, then why don't they have a complete song?

Hollywood Tonight is unquestionably Michael Jackson. I'm surprised its being questioned. The Beatboxing, the pronunciation... it's all there. The spoken bridge is Taryll, most likely because MJ didn't record a bridge or third verse. But there's enough there that I think its still a solid song.

To me, Hollywood Tonight is the perfect example of an incomplete song...We have Mike's beatboxing, which seems to be the basis of the song...That amazing bass line, beatboxing, and catchy chorus seem to be Michael's beginning ideas for the song, and I love that it was left as is...at least, that's what it sounds like to me, as we obviously haven't heard the demo....A verse is repeated, because clearly Michael didn't record the whole thing...As well as the bridge, I don't particularly love the spoken part, but at least it's not filled in with questionable vocals..I appreciate and love the rawness of the song...I think Teddy did a great job with this one because he kept Michael's style, flavour, and worked with the vocals he had, while still keepin' it real..:cheeky:

^Exactly. This is what I thought we would get when they say a song in incomplete and needs some work. Its a bit repetitive and needed a spoken bridge and a verse repeated to flesh it out, but its still a decent track.

YES! exactly! had they used this type of common sense and technique for ALL songs, then maybe this shit show wouldn't be happening...

Excellent post. I feel the same... seeing so many fans who actually believe in the 3 cascio tracks makes me feel I have gone insane!

At first after all the controversy about 3 other tracks (the Cascio ones) I thought so, too. But after listening to it a few times I had a major facepalm . It's just a new, inventive style, yet you can clearly hear and feel MJ if you ask me... it's just pure Michael genius at its best.

Hollywood Tonight...

I love the song, too. It's surprising to me people don't refer to Michael's verses when they praise HT.

How he sings "Lipstick in hand, Tahitian tanned... in her painted on jeans"... or "she's headed for the BIG time" - love it!!
