Hey everyone,
As some of yall may know I am a teacher who teaches ages 2-4 years of age. I have been at this place for almost 3 years have really enjoyed the atmostphere of the nuturing of the children and the interaction from fellow co-workers at this childcare center. I have spent my college years here also working on my student teaching, which enabled me to get to know the place and the teachers who work there. Enough of that. I have been wanting to be control of my own class ever since I've worked here and haven't been able to get the opprotunity, but now I have that chance. I am looking forward to be one of the teachers whom have applied for a lead teacher's position and sharing this news to everyone. I would like to ask for your prayers or positive vibrations as I wait for an answer. It will be sometime in June or early July when I will find out who has gotten the job. Thanks in advance. :)

Dorothy Marie, you have senority over ofther staff considering he three years have spent there. Congratulations is order. I hope you get wgat you want. :)

Let me share my experiene with you as well. I too am a Behaviour Specialist in Early childhood education, I work wirh children ages 6 wks through pre-kindergaten.
In addition, I teach ECE on a college level to young adults ECE at the community

Working with children is what I like to do best!

I have to reapply for my job in August so I am now starting to get shaky knees over it all I really like this school, even if I've got two troublesome classes at the moment.

So I know how you feel waiting Dorothy I'm going to keep on keeping my fingers crossed for you :yes:

Well the decision that I'm waiting for might be coming in the next week or so. I shall keep praying that the Lord gives me the chance to over and beyond in what I like to do and teach children and be in control of my own classroom. :D

Well I want to thank everyone for whom prayed for me about the teacher position. I didn't get the position but there is another position that is avaliable that I will be trying for.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got the position and will finally have my own classroom! :punk::dancin: I will be with 12 months to 18 months. Thank you so much for all your prayers and good thoughts everyone! :)

:cheeky: Thank you L.J. I am very excited that I have my own room. It will be challenging but I will get over it because I have been through it lots of times. :yes:
