yea, Teddy doesn't "know what Michael would do" as he says, but just tries to use Michael's previous ideas and fails
so far we have:

1) spoken bridge a-la In The Closet
2) intro a-la Who Is It
3) back vocals from Hurt by The Jacksons

guess that's not all :/
but still, the song is awesome and I really hope for an alernative mix on the new single

I don't think it would have worked in In The Closet either if it was Taryll doing the speaking parts there. :smilerolleyes:

Edit: No offense to Taryll, I have nothing against him but I prefer MJ. :)
 
I found another version of the song online and thought that version would be the one on the album. Unfortunately it's not! :( The other version is much more melodious and more aggressive, too. I am quite disappointed with the version on the album, it's rather lame...
 
^^ Yes, I'd like to hear it as well...Saying it's more 'melodious' has gotten me quite curious :)

I love the song, but I had hardly listened to it because of Taryll's rap...Just totally ruined the song for me...Now, I have that part removed, and it's amazing how much more I listen to it now. :D
 
Can you post a small snippet just of the transition of your new version? I'd be curious how you managed to connect those two parts :). Thinkiing about it, I might do the same... even though I like the spoken bridge, I'm always impatient to hear Michael's first verse again.
 
I don't understand that crap about bitching over the spoken part.

What makes you think that Michael would have spoken it? Complaining about been to long.
I have one thing to tell you, "Threatened".

All "rap" parts in Michael songs are extended and beside ITC, the spoken parts are done by someone different but Michael.
Is it because its done by one of the family?
I think it fits very well. It wasn't recorded at the time cause Michael problably didn't choose who should do the rap part then.

Well the truth is we don't know for sure. But people are entitled to their opinion about it. Its great that you like it though, I'm just not keen on it.

nonono, Threatened has probably the coolest rap interlude ever, the one in HT just sucks. really cheesy and boring :mello:
 
I'm curious, are some of Michael's lyrics from 2007? IIRC Michael worked on it until 2001 and again in 2007. I do wonder if he sung in 2007 again or if he just worked on the instruments and so on...

HT is being released in ireland because a pub i was working in last night had their official music system updated and HT was on there. that machine only updates with either old classics or new releases
