Okies..

So I have noticed that I have been hearing more MJ music out in public!

One dude was blasting "Don't Stop Till You get Enough" on the metro bus here! At first I thought it was my head phones in my bag but it was someone else.

Hear someone Blasting "Rock With You" in there Car.

Heard "I'll Be there" playing some where? I forget..lol.

This is good!

I also remember but this was long ago.. this Lasy was blasting "2000 Watts in her car" out steps a 70 year old lady in the car! lol and yes she was grooving before she got out.

Anyone else notice?:D:dancin:

Yup :D

Last week I heard "Can You Feel It" when I was in Hollister and "Rock With You" at a Chinese restaurant.

I love it. I have something like an "MJ music radar." I hear something and go "woah...woah...woah...woah...I hear MJ" and run to where it's coming from

I'm waiting in the parking lot in the car and a big burly bouncer looking type dude bounces out of the store and bounces into his car next to me and starts looking for something while blasting WBSS '08 at top volume and after it goes off I ask the guy what radio station it is and he says its his T25 CD :D

Oh yea! I forgot about somethin else!

Last week I went to the CD store and T25 was the top selling CD :D

I asked the manager and he said they sold 75 copies in one day! Which for here in Rhode Island...it's rare to find ANY MJ cd's at all....not just because I own them all

THIS is one of the reasons why MICHAEL should TOUR THE USA!

I love this thread, LOL @ the old lady I really did laugh out loud.

all the time. especially with MJ tunes. everybody's car is blasting them more than other artists' tunes.(in which case, the volume is back down to normal). storefronts, streetcorners. i have never gone past a place where, somehow the volume control seems broke, stuck at full blast, on peoples' listening devices mainly, and way more often than not, only when MJ music is on.

well today i went into this store called "what's new" ( it sells really cool quirky stuff)
and just as i walked in, i hear a very familar sound and im like ok the begining of this song sounds familar. And realised it was BILLE JEAN!!!! :wild:

I've heard MJ on the radio far more than I've ever heard him in the past. Before the concerts were announced I rarely heard an MJ track but now I reckon they're averaging one an hour lol!

Couple days ago I heard Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' playing on the radio in the PH casino. :D I recognized it, and smiled so big and told my mom and sister to listen. And they're like OMG!

oh and Blame it on the Boogie was playing in the grocery store earlier today

They changed the music at my work to disco/funk about a month ago and I'm always hearing Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, Rock With You, Shake Your Body... it's pretty sweet. I heard Human Nature the other day when I was at Baskin Robbins. lol

barnes and noble was playing burn this disco out,it was ironoic cuz i asked the guy 2look up a mj book 4me and bam he comes on over the loud speaker

i always hear DSTYGE at this one store which i work near... i think they have that one song on repeat or something.

I also noticed last week while waiting for the bus i managed to look inside a bar across the road and i could see the rock with you clip on in the back corner... it was almost impossible to spot to anyone else...lol, made me smile.

yeah... everytime im at work mj is played more than once.
he's also on tv alot, playing his music videos... the other day i saw a guy with a king of pop shirt, and yesterday on tv a teenage boy told about how he loved AC/DC, and he showed his room and it was filled with AC/DC stuff but also filled with MJ posters.. i have many, many examples..

Hears a random one for ya, I was walking through Chester today (if you know Chester) and a shop called octopuss which sells all different kinds of female accesorries was playing Break Of Dawn! :D

I was like wow, they must be quite a big MJ fan as casual fans dont really tend to know Break Of Dawn. They should though, its great :\

Meh, I haven't heard any MJ songs since 2008 winter in random places. And that was Thriller :/

I hear Michael almost everyday in radio... Latest songs I heard were Beat It and Smooth Criminal :) And he's always in TV too, like Vh1, so everyday I hear his music out in public

Im one of them lolz.,
blasting Mike`s music in my car. and cant believe one time I look at my rear mirror.the old lady behind my car was singing to it lol " the way you make me feel"

Haha, every time I go out the first song I hear when I arrive is one of Michael Jackson. Last time Don't Stop Till You Get Enough, Billie Jean and yesterdag Rock With You :)

Wow u carnt be that far from me if your hearing in Chester lol

It's hard for me to say what's more, since I always lived in the US until just 3 years ago. Europe seems to be more ok with MJ than America. I guess that's why I was pleasantly surprised when they used Bad as background music for the first show of America's Got Talent (which we get on satellite) a couple of weeks ago or whenever. At least that. And they've played MJ music in several German shows lately as well. Haven't heard any out in the wild, but then I haven't gone many interesting places lately.

i always here billie jean at the fair, there always playing bad in shops, ive heard it loads in clothes shops, wanna be startin something is also played alot, ive never heard any mj song other than those three played anywhere though in public

Actually, no. We only got one radio station that plays Michael's music regularly but that's about it, I don't hear it anywhere else.. Only occasionally in some stores.

I'm crossing the street and a car goes by blasting PYT from Thriller

I've heard The Way You Make Me Feel & Billie Jean in shops over the past few days, feels good hearing them in public :D

Just heard 'Thriller' as a background in a German documentary... don't know what about. Nothing about MJ.

I always hear a Michael Jackson song when I go to Selfridges (which is quite often). On my last three visits I've heard Don't Stop Till You Get Enough, Off The Wall and Billie Jean. I once heard a really cool reagee cover version of Don't Stop Till You Get Enough when I was in Selfridges and I don't like reagee very much, but it's the only cover of a Michael Jackson song I've ever liked.
