I have felt lonely, yes....I guess everyone has had those akward moments when you are at a new place, and with new people and you are just not quite in the mood to be the active person, going to talk to people etc.....? I have some times willingly shosen the part of the wall- flower, hoping the evening will end soon.........
And I was very, very shy as a teenager.......:p

Have you ever shosen to stay at home, rather then accepting an invitation for an evening out?

Only if they didn't want it? :lol: There was this one time though when I was about 6 i was in Brighton :p LOL with my mum and just sat there looking at this older man eating his dinner he had a big piece of fish left on his plate and apparenlty I said "Do you want that fish?" he said no so I asked can I have it :mello: LOL that wasn't dessert but oh well it was a cute story my mum reminds me of.
