they haven't mentioned the kids yet, only mentioned MJ briefly saying that tears are gonna be shed for sure.

Mine does too but that's what happens when lots of people try to enter a stream at once. It'll get better when it settles down. Plus I've also gone and moved my modem higher to get a better connection.

It was out of sync for me when that girl was doing Gaga. Her mouth didn't match the music.

Now I'm not sure, can't really tell, don't think so. It keeps stopping and starting though :/ but thats probably my internet connection...my little light is flashing.

I guess that is because it is a non televised industry event and probably in regular times the public does not care about this awards.
