I read an article about him selling 30.000 records but that was early in the afternoon (13.00) so it's probably much more now. He has a lot of fans in the Netherlands, just look at the amount of Dutchies on this forum

In Holland the Album Michael has sold 30.000 copies on the first day of release.
This great news just friday the 10th and selling 30.000 copies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the Saterday still around we can get to 50.000 or 60.000 copies

In holland in the 90's The platina status was 100.000 albums sold

Now in the year 2010 gold in Holland = 25.000 copies
Now in the year 2010 Platina in Holland = 50.000 copies

Now MJ Sold on the 10 th of december until 13:00 early afternoon 30.000+ copies
The shops are open until 18:00 average.

I Predict a sale of 40.000 at the end of the day( Very save count) almost platina.

Now it's saterday and a full day of people who are going to do christmas
sales i think it will sell between the 60.000 and 80.000 units of michael in this weekend
alone.

I hope for actual sales figures the coming days. but it's about the music ofcourse!!!

The biggest selling album in Holland in 2010 have to sell more than 4x platinum, at this time it's Caro Emerald with 4x platinum in one year. Dutch singer Marco Borsato recently release his new album and already has 3x platinum.... So if Michael will be the biggest selling album of this year, he has to sell more than 4x platinum in one month which might be possible because it's only 200.000 copies, I already bought 2 so than is a good start hahahahaha
