michael in regal clothing = the literal love of my life. i want to paint his portrait and feed him grapes like a 14th century monarch SO BAD. there is literally no one more handsome and beautiful.

Er, sorry! What I meant was, I love the play of light and shade in this photo, the artistic moodiness ... indeed, the mysteriousness evoked by what we are allowed to see and what is hidden. The contrast between the angular shapes created by his arms vs. his lithe elegance as he moves forward into another liminal space ...
