Favorite MJ Performance

When we choose MJ best performances we must no only compare his performances but with performances from other great live artists. So the standard is really high.

only a complete fit MJ can have so much energy live. I need raw live vocals.
A lip-syncing Stranger in Moscow, Earth Song MJ don´t has a chance against the guy in the video above.
The guy above would win the battle raw power not weak miming. Imagine it like a battle where the fan from one artist choose a video and the fan from the other artist chooses one video and than the battle begins. The battle is finished when one fan group has ten victory´s.
So please choose wisley.Only the very best! A lip syncing Black or White MJ is not even close to the best.

my favorite is the classic Billie jean live in bucharest, the dangerous tour, that was just mad, 3 perfect moonwalks, an absolutely killer end dance, he did some great live vocals and add libs, and it was a little faster than usual, he just absolutely killed it
 
Theres so many but this one really stands out, this whole concert is amazing, he does alot of different moves and he so full with energy through out the show, hes just smiling and laughing alot in this concert and the moves blow my mine.

I was going to comment but I'll be damned if someone is going to tell me a performance by MJ I pick or connect with is somehow not good enough to be considered.

That's a personal feeling

You don't have to compare his performances to anyone. People connected with MJ all through his career, some people connected to his singing, some to his dancing, some to the complete showman he was

and are you kidding me comparing MJ to Terence Trent D'arby ?????????????

I have lots of favorite MJ performances. But the performances that I been wanting to see lately is:

the 2 1999 Dangerous performances from Korea and Munich

The Billie Jean performance at the Dangerous Concert in Munich

The 95 MTV VMAs performance

and The Billie Jean performance from Gothenburg, Sweden HIStory Concert


I am watching the last one right now. And OMG do I just love it. I thought Michael was just so cool during that performance.
 
I can't quite single out a performance I like the most. I watched Bad concert he did in Japan... for the first time in my life I watched it from the very beginning to the end and it's for sure a great live performance ever made :) He's so full of stamina, so sincere if I may say so referring to a stage performance... He dances and sings during two hours almost without stop, it's amazing. I think if they aired Bad concert here, on our television, as they did with Bucharest concert short after Michael's passing, people would be knocked out.
And I just LOVE Michael's performance of "Elizabeth, I love you"! There are no special effects, only himself standing on a darkened stage... Michael creates a spectacle, a story just with a few gestures and dance moves. Of course, I'd seen this performance before but not long ago I kind of rediscovered it and couldn't help saying "The man is GREAT!" :)

I loved how his hair was during that show. I remember flippin' out (in a good way lol) because Mike was rockin' a Thriller era haircut again.

EDIT: Forgot to contribute my fav performance. :)

I have to say the whole Motown 25 show with him and his brothers re-uniting with Jermaine and then the break-through performance of Billie Jean. I'll never forget that night.

when she said "my baby,Michael Jackson"Mike seemed soooo happy and proud of it.he was so fresh in that show.and his dance,his vocals,gosh,i love it !!

Totally agree, I love that one.

I also love "Rock With You" in Yokohama '87.




I love Michael's dance routines and all, but my favorite is when he'd sing live. His vocals were incredible.
