you can tell in this picture that they used a computer to hide his vitiligo markings. Look at the color of his chest and how it changes so dramatically when it gets to his neck.

This is one of my favorite pics of him. He wore a little make-up, but still looked very masculine. I love "masculine" since I'm feminine, but a guy doesn't have to be overly masculine.

I agree with you about the Bad era. He was HOT HOT HOT, but you can't tell people what to find sexy and what not to find sexy. Many have a certain "type" and they don't care to venture away from that. It's not up to anyone to tell them they should either. Just like you wouldn't want someone telling you that you shouldn't find MJ sexy.

as a heterosexual man I'm not attracted to MJ. when i first visited this thread I was expecting to see pictures of him from back in the thriller days.

I good way to sum up MJ's sex appeal is like so. My mother used to be very attracted to Michael Jackson for one reason. The moves! Even after he started to look like a girl she was still attracted to him, even in the remember the time video.

It's not that MJ is good looking, far from it I'd probably kill myself if I woke up tomorrow looking like that, it's that he could dance. All guys know a girl looks sexier while dancing, and I'm sure it goes both ways.

My mom always said that if she was to see some average guy walking down the street looking like that she'd think he was a transgender or something, but MJ had the moves necessary to turn a girl on. His talent overcame his asexual look.

Up until 1999 he allways looked great. Then from about 2000 to 2005 I didnt like the way he looked at all.

2005 onwards he looked great, apart from his hair. I just was not a fan of his hair at all. I was thrilled when the curls made a return! :D:D

Then for the last month of his life he had looked amazing and thats one thing that makes it all so sad :\ Even haters are saying he looked like he did in the 90's.

it means that a person looks like they are inbetween guy and girl. He doesn't look quite like a girl, no breasts, and he doesn't look like a guy either most of the time. It doesn't mean he is a sexual. It means he looks a sexual.

I'm not trying to imply that there is anything wrong with a person being attracted to MJ, but I'm sure you can understand that most people think he looks very feminine. Just look at the originalpyt signature up above this post. If you had never heard of MIchael Jackson before and you saw that, you wouldn't even doubt it was a girl.

Nothing wrong with it. It's his body and his right to look however he wants. I'm just saying he chose to look pretty girly. Not that it's a bad thing. I'm just calling it what it is.

not really. i'm a guy's guy, and i never once looked at him and got a physical guy reaction. i know what feminine looks like, and every time i see a beautiful girl i get a physical guy reaction. i really don't think anybody who says they think he looks feminine, get a physical guy reaction, that they would get, if they were attracted to girls. i just feel they are saying that, to add to the negativity that it was cool to heap upon MJ, in the minds of people who heaped it. but that's my opinion. a lot of stuff said negative about mj was for no reason, sorta like hating him, but listening to his music, in closet situations..

I think Michael was SO BEAUTIFUL, in so many ways it defies description. And that is rare, not your everyday beauty, but naturally just IS!!.

Great post. So true. He illuminated the room. It was a breathlessness people felt around him. It was more than his looks it was the feeling you had when in his presence. That is powerful stuff.

people are not being dishonest when they say he looks girly. they aren't just saying it for the sake of hating on him. it's crazy to try and imply that they are. lipstick, eyeshadow, blush, lonng curly hair. all on the same person. even as a little kid during the bad era I thought he looked girly and he made up about 99% of my world at the time. In my sixth grade talent show I won by impersonating him. won again years later in college at a talent show as well.

I know plenty of huge fans who think he looks extremely girly. we have no motivation to pretend he's girly.

somebody mentioned that without his make up he doesn't look as girly and I agree, but the fact still remains that he chooses to put on make up which does make him look girly.

and it's not necessarily a negative thing. as a performer I think it made him cooler. I honestly do. His look was awesome. Girly doesn't automatically mean it isn't awesome. I think the plastic surgery and everything even though it made him look weird it also made him look cool as freaking hell on stage. I personally wouldn't want to look like that, but it still contributed to his abilities as an entertainer.

obviously straight guys aren't going to be physically attracted to him. I'm not trying to imply that. because even that was a girl it would look like something was off and not quite right. for starters he has no breasts.
 
This is weird...I had a crush on the man since "Bad" era (earliest memories)
I dunno somthing bout that jheri curl/mullet, charm, smile and his eyes were just..goodness.

But I always thought Michael was too gentle and sweet to be looked at in a sexy way,
but since I'm older I realized Michael's appearance is exactly what I like.

Michael is what is called a "Bishounen" which means "beautiful male" in japanese.

Up until he passed I looked at Michael the same way I looked at him when I was younger..just a handsome gentle charming sweet man...but I find all of these videos about his "sexiness" and it made me think twice. The hip movements, thrusts and grinding is just amazing and he knows how to handle a woman.

I will admit that during the "30th anniversary" concert I did not like his appearance...he just did not look right to me but I think he was under stress, he was still charming to me but he just looked like he was under stress and he needed to rest. And when they took that mean mugshot of him he looked sick..but I can understand why (stupid press!) during the trial he looked healthy and in shape.

To some people Michael looked "unusual" I think Michael was the most beautiful and charming man I have ever seen in my life.....that equals sexy automatically.
