Did you know that all of you and I can get Media Attention?

I do like this idea, it would take alot of thinking out!
It upsets me so much when people say bad things about him, ive lost friends over nasty jokes they've made about him, and the tabloids prints these things into peoples minds! Some people just dont realise that words and jokes can hurt and the tabloids teaches them that there ok, we have to make a stand to show people this!
 
Great Idea, but some one needs to dress up like Diane Demon. We should have this day every year. Call it Tabloid Junkie day. The most amount of rubbish seems to be coming out from the Sun, Mirror and Telegraph. Because every one is running to them. Maybe the money is more in Britian..

Edited down for length - but have fans from everywhere - they can do it in their backyards, or on their porches, anywhere.

It's cheaper and not illegal - AND the power of viral marketing is much more powerful if WE control the medium.

LMAO... you too funny about dressing up like "DIE AND DEMON" LOL.... :)

We need to get there attention.. doing something nice -sorry to say- will NOT get their attention and again, to all of you :

NOT buying them, but printing them out of Internet.. or yet, doing the adds ourselfs..... doesn't have to be expensive whatsoever, i can print them free at work HEHEHEHE :)

Instead of buying them why don't you collect them from people who have been buying them for lets say....at least a year-

This way you could ask people to donate to the cause and this would also demonstrate awareness.

And then when you have a mountain, burn them. This event could be historic and you would need to find a place to store the news papers.
 
i know from experience they only choose the most ignorant or unarticualte fans to ever showcase in th emedia. im against it.

But let's say if a fan with audio/visual talent compiled videos of MJ fans around the world burning up tabloids in their own backyards - then have the Tabloid Junkie playing in the background, I think that would be more meaningful.

That way, we control the medium and if it's done well, it could go viral.
 
it doesn't work that way. u do it on their terms. always and forever. it's what they wanna show. so don't get ur hopes up

One day, we should all meet city after city, with tons of michael's tabloids and burn them all..... and do a Biiiig fire :) we should even call it : "TABLOID TRASH DAY"..... IN michael's Honour....

Contact media... and repeat that every year... AND while on site.... give a recap of all lies given....and give truth in his honour..... at least the first year we would be VERY successfull... we could start to organize that in every major city... a rally type....

it would also give a chance for us to meet and share our thoughts and therefore create a "michael day"... even organize it in front of Neverland and / or encino, for those who are close..

What do you guys think? His music was listened by Millions.... i am sure we can put this off... with a "i'll be there list"....

And they'll publish something like "Fans of Michael Jackson are crazy and they could be dangerous".
 
Just don`t buy the crap.A youtube video would not be bad. But the best change we can do, is to do something positive. And ignore the bs. Visiting a childrens hospital, donating, voluntary work, getting an education and do something meaningful. Exell at what you do, and tell people that you use Michael as an inspiration. There will always be people that will keep their mind in the gutter, and enjoy reading trash. If people want to be ignorant, you can not change them The only thing you really can change is yourself.

As for buying the newspapers, I agree, they will make a huge profit. It'd be better if we just made our own big posters with the tabloid names on them, or printed stuff off the internet. :)

I've suggested this before at another site, I like this idea. This needs Attention, Michael said it many times, he wanted to have a TABLOID burning day.
 
how about we also burn photos of reporters/journalist and pictures of the companies they work for and also the pictures of the people who hurt/betrayed michael. that would definitely get their attention
 
Well, we have a burn ban right now haha. But, instead of putting focus on all the negative stuff, why turn it into positive. For instance, I think every major city has a Children's Hospital (I know Shriner's is all over the place) and have a special day where we all go in with beads, make necklaces and bracelets and call it Just Bead It Day. That would get the medias attention.
