I got a great idea....



One day, we should all meet city after city, with tons of michael's tabloids and burn them all..... and do a Biiiig fire :) we should even call it : "TABLOID TRASH DAY"..... IN michael's Honour....

Contact media... and repeat that every year... AND while on site.... give a recap of all lies given....and give truth in his honour..... at least the first year we would be VERY successfull... we could start to organize that in every major city... a rally type....

it would also give a chance for us to meet and share our thoughts and therefore create a "michael day"... even organize it in front of Neverland and / or encino, for those who are close..

What do you guys think? His music was listened by Millions.... i am sure we can put this off... with a "i'll be there list"....

but no way r we gonna buy that many tabloids just to burn em cause we will b bringin them huge profits this way lol !!

we can just print fake adds from internet... Through work's printer.... we can make copies... and i won't necessarely pay for them lol :)

You got to think out of the box... not just being stuck in "going to buy them" obviously, trash of michaels are set in the past... mostly....

I even thought to organize for his 1 year death to send TONS of flowers to his mauseleum....

well- i wouldn't be up for buying tabloid trash only to burn it and give them money.

we can always "write out" / "print out" the headlines and burn those.

but i like it... anything to show the haters.... the HELL with them... that we MJ fans are LOUD, PROUD, and MASSIVE!!!!!

But could we have a tabloid trash day & donate it to a recycling center instead?
 
The basic is to have a Tabloid Junkie Day... all coordinated in various city, same day... .this thread is truly open to suggestion... We , fans, have been on the news cause we do great things, and media has taken us on tv.. .cause we do make noise when it comes to michael...

so.... we can all ensure this happens again, but, being organized and knowing exactly what, where, how, when and what (printing adds etc...)
 
I love that you're wanting to do something for Michael...but wouldn't something positive be better? I saw him in a video interview on YouTube or somewhere a couple days ago, where he was talking about wanting to get an International Childrens Day declared as a national/Int'l holiday...to have one day where parents and families focus on their children. Why not start a collective effort to make that happen?

I like your idea TinaG! I'm in favor of something positive that Michael had his heart set on.
It's a beautiful idea.
 
I am all for positive things. I can't imagine why we can't do all of them.

But at the same time it matters for to make a stand against continued witch hunt on Michael from all of the tabloid shows, papers and such.

Many of us have known and loved Michael for decades. We know what is true and what is not for the most part. But for new fans..... there has to be an effort to dispel all the rumors, innuendo's, salacious reports that are targeted to continue to tarnish Michael's reputation.

yea.. we wouldn't buy the crap.... someone mentioned printing out the headlines.... then burning or recycling it.

yea no sense in buying crap to destroy them.

That is a wonderful idea Michael would love that. I would love to do something positive to show all those haters how much we love Michael and what they are missing out on.

I like your idea, but it won't make any difference. You pay for tabloids to burn them, and all they want is money, they don't care about what people do with them.
Well, if you want to print them it's ok, but I still think it's a waste of money, time and paper.

There's a lot of other things to do to remember Michael. Spend your time helping others, for example.
But that's just my opinion.
 
I think this "burning" idea would be more powerful if we did each a "burning" video and compile them into one 5 minute Youtube video with "Tabloid Junkie" playing.

Edited down for length - but have fans from everywhere - they can do it in their backyards, or on their porches, anywhere.

It's cheaper and not illegal - AND the power of viral marketing is much more powerful if WE control the medium.

Don't forget to round the rest of 'em up first will ya ;) & Tabloid Junkie Day sounds like a fun way to get the message out there to other people to stop buying trash :D

... then with all that money everyone saves they can give it to a charitable thing instead :D
