Friday, February 25: The legendary Diana Ross comes to The Oprah Show stage for a rare interview and performance.


Just an FYI. I am curious if she will be asked anything about MJ (As I'm sure she will since we are talking about Oprah). I am curious what she will say.
 
wow, this is going to be interesting. I bet Oprah will ask her about Michael's wish for her to raise his kids if his mother were unable to.

^Probably. Maybe Diana will reveal that they were lovers around the Wiz. I'm just guessing, but their chemistry was undeniable.
 
it's going to come up for sure,... knowing Oprah's unhealthy obsession with Michael...
 
I hope she will be as dignified as ever and say the right things. .. She is a loving person, too. ..

Will be waiting for transcripts, though.

I am wishing the same...I hope she is kind, dignified and doesn't throw Mike under the bus as his own family has.
 
It appears as if Oprah's OBSESSION with Michael Jackson continues. LOL!

Has Ms. Ross ever appeared on the Oprah show before?

I believe she is going through Michael's "little black book" and trying to secure folks who MAY dish with her. I'm sure she is STILL begging Debbie Rowe to make an appearance.

Miss Ross has previously been on Oprah's show at least two times that I know of.

I'm waiting for Debbie too ;)
 
Diana Ross never spoke bad about Michael (not that I know of) and never took back anything good she said about him.

But it is disputable that Michael and her are good friends. If not, Michael will not consider entrusting his kids with her in his will.

She has many times spoken up when her interviewers try to make fun of Michael during the interview. I remember she once told the interviewer off (being the diva she is) during her working overtime tour interview, "If anyone has anything bad to say about Michael, do not tell it to me. He is my friend and I love him very much."

Diana Ross is usually discrete during funerals of people younger than she is. For instance, she attended Princess Diana's funeral and Michael Hutchence (lead singer of INXS) discretely. No one got a single picture of her during the funerals.

Any doubt Oprah targeted Diana Ross.? Oprah sees a ratings bananza having Diana express her feelings about MJ'S will, the kids etc. Hope Diana takes the high road.
 
I'm trying to figure out what Diana is currently doing that needs promotion. Oprah is probably going to ask her about MJ and his will.

That's what I'm thinking also.

And if she does, she's going to make the Jackson family look very bad in the process, because you just know Oprah is going to try and put a HEADLIGHT on the fact that Michael did not name any of his siblings as guardians to his children. As we know he went from Katherine straight to Diana Ross.

Janet and Katherine can sit up there and SMILE in Oprah's face, but bottomline, the only thing Oprah cares about is getting the DIRT, and she doesn't care who's toes she has to step on in the process.

"So Diana, why do you think Michael wanted you to raise his children, instead of his siblings?" Watch Oprah go there!
 
I wonder what she will be promoting? I will be watching, there is no doubt Oprah is going to ask her about being named in the Will. I wanna know what she thinks about that.
 
I was going to say Diana has put interviewers in their place in the past. If Oprah tries any nonsense, I hope she will do it again. She told one interviewer to keep it to himself when he cracked jokes about Michael.

I pray to God that Oprah doesn't mention MJ.. There is no need for her to do that. She needs to leave MJ alone
 
It's Oprah, you know she'll talk about Michael. I trust that Diana will stay respectful though.


On a side note: When in the hell is Oprah's show ending?
Also a random, a little OT thought: Do you guys think if Michael were still alive today that Oprah would have asked him to be one of the final guests during her very last season this year?

Yeah I read that Oprah was trying to get Debbie Rowe on her show to speak about Michael. Although I would really love to hear from Debbie I dont think she would do it, and if she do want to do an interview I rather it not be with Oprah. Oprah clearly wants to finish her last show off with a bang, but I dont want it to happen :lol:

I remember Diana and her daughter was doing an interview on Access Hollywood during the trial, and the interviewer went to ask Diana about her arrest (I think) and her and her daughter both ignored the question and quickly changed the subject :lol: Also in that same interview he started to ask about the trial and they quickly cut him off. I think Oprah know better, Diana does not play lol
 
Man I really wish Diana would've allowed MJ to live with her permanently. I think she would've done a good job with MJ, showing him love. Mike needed someone that loved and cared about him and nurtured him, I don't think Katherine did that.

I think she is too.. At least I've never heard her throw MJ under the bus.. I refuse to watch Oprah but I know Diana's interview will be posted here especially if she speaks about Mike

yeah...Diana dont play....he knows how to change the subject very quickly....and I think that if Oprah EVER asked her about Michael...she would probably tell her to mind her own business..:lmao: I would LOVE to see that!!!!
 
i hope diana makes oprah keep the subject on diana ross. i know it will frustrate the hell out of winfrey, but, good. so what?
 
Every time Oprah interviews someone close to Michael this feeling of anxiety comes over me.:(
