Doll, I posted it especially for you. Of course, I wanted to post it across at least 5 threads. But, y'know, just sometimes I do try to behave myself, lol. :D

I do think it's a lovely image. Kinda makes me wanna know what he's thinking.

He probably did some of it on his own but it's always a collaboration between the artist and the director. They'll be working stuff out together as they go. Plus, remember, Michael can't see what the director can see through the camera. Michael might have just tried something that felt right but didn't quite work on camera and Herb Ritts is suggesting something slightly different. Or Michael did a move and then asked for feedback. Michael chose the people he worked with bc they had great ideas to share with him. I can imagine them discussing the character and figuring out together how to tell his story.
