Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

But what is the deal with Sheryl Crow? I haven't really been checking what she has been saying for all these years, but I don't recall her ever acting like this or am I wrong? It's unfortunate though and sad that she'd do this.

If you looked towards Castle Rock from Princes Street yesterday evening, you might have been surprised by what you saw.

The face of controversial figure Michael Jackson appeared projected onto the rock, with the words "facts don't lie, people do" and "innocent" across the singer's mouth.

The projection was organised by a group called MJ INNOCENT, who say it was in response to Leaving Neverland director Dan Reed's arrival in the capital ahead of the Edinburgh Television Festival.

A spokesperson for the group said: "MJ INNOCENT was appalled at the decision by the Edinburgh Film Festival to invite Dan Reed to speak at their event despite his film being based on complete falsehoods."

The award-winning director and producer is due to appear at the Festival today where he will join a panel of industry experts to discuss the future of factual and feature documentaries.

Reed's bombshell documentary, co-produced by Channel 4 and HBO, recounts the testimony of two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who allege they were sexually abused as children by Michael Jackson.

he documentary aired in the UK in March - ten years on from the singer's death - making headlines worldwide and dividing audiences. Michael Jackson songs were even banned on some radio stations.

Michael Jackson's family have denied the allegations and a law suit was brought against HBO, however the producers claimed the documentary is protected under the First Amendment.

Good lord, Dan is going to discuss factual documentaries? That has to be the worst joke I've heard in a long time. The truth is out there for grabs, the whole "documentary" has been debunked left and right and yet they still invite that lying piece of shit? This world man.
 
How do i get the links for twitter or YouTube to show up on here, Ive seen everyone else's and it shows the pictures but mine just come up with links instead

I think Michael should of asked Lisa if she wanted kids by him before even marrying her. how long did they even dated? i guess Michael was in a hurry to have kids because he was pushing, how old was Michael in 1994-1997? he had to been in 30's? so yeah. that's understandable. Michael had such a busy life he really didn't have a chance to really date etc. when Michael did everybody use him or wasn't his type. Michael said he didn't want to die alone and lonely. sadly he did. :(
 
Michael real true love was Diana Ross he also liked Whitney from what i heard. but diana rejected him and whitney got on drugs and he left her. though Michael will had diana name on it when he passed. he really love her alot. poor mike. :(

I don't know either if she has either. if she hasn't and now doing it it's sad and she basically doing it for money. i heard she got a new album coming out. that's understandable. i got a feeling her sales is gonna drop.

Use the insert image and insert video buttons and copy and paste the links in the boxes.

I agree in my opinion. their relationship didn't last long only for 19 months. but it was Michael life. he was his choice to choose whatever he wanted to do.

Also I don't think Michael wasn't even an fan of Elvis in the begin with. he was nuts for james brown. james was his idol and he got some of his dance moves from him. alot people think Michael got his moves from elvis but he didn't.
 
I guess people wanted to see the king of pop with the king of rock and roll daughter. but sadly it's didn't workout. i'm not gonna lie that would of been really cool.

I do not know who those people were but it is clearly MJ was of james Brown, Jackie Wilson; Fred Astaire, no Elvis.

No, many people did not want to see them together plus they were an odd match. That why they were hounded. No one was shocked over their divorce; if fact, shocked it lasted that long on paper.

Click the little arrow in the top right corner of the tweet and select Embed Tweet. Copy the code and paste it straight into the reply box here and post. Refresh the page and you will see the embedded tweets.
The Embed Tweet option comes up on the site version of twitter. Not in the app (not on Android, anyway).

For YouTube videos you need to click the Insert Video button on the bar at the top of the reply box, paste the URL of the video and click OK.
