"For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil." (1 John 3:8)

It was part of an elaborate plan formulated in Heaven before the foundations of the world were laid! The Bible speaks, "...of the Lamb slain from the foundations of the world." (Revelation 13:8)

St. Peter declared, "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things...But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

"Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God". (1 Peter 1:18-21)

And the Holy Scriptures state unequivocally, "Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel, and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain;" (Acts 2:23) The amplified Bible translates this verse thusly, "...according to the definite and final purpose and settled plan and foreknowledge of God..."

(II) JESUS CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD ON A HOLY MISSION!

"For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." (John 3:17)

Jesus declared, "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10)

THERE IS ONLY ONE SAVIOR!

St. Peter stated, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)

The Bible says, "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior: Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. Who gave Himself a ransom for all..." (1 Timothy 2:3-6)

Jesus Christ said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me". (John 14:6)

I'm Catholic too, and I want to thank Jesus because he sent to me and to us, one of the precious gift that we could ever had (Michael), and for helping me to be strong, after the 6/25/09.
I feel Jesus always with me.

But the men would not listen to him. So the man seized his concubine, and put her out to them; and they knew her, and abused her all night until the morning. And as the dawn began to break, they let her go. And as morning appeared, the woman came and fell down at the door of the man's house where her master was, till it was light. And her master rose up in the morning, and when he opened the doors of the house and went out to go on his way, behold, there was his concubine lying at the door of the house, with her hands on the threshold. If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father; or the voice of his mother, and, though they chastise him, will not give heed to them, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives, and they shall say to the elders of his city, "This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard." Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones; so you shall purge the evil from your midst; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

That's wonderful! I have my days when I'm down, and they are now especially on weekends. I just keep praying Michael is with Jesus and there is no better place to be.

K.O.S., Hello, I am rather confused to why you are here, and posting scripture, if you are an aithest? You did start that thread, right?? No one is in there bothering you all, so please respect us and do the same. :)

As Christians, we are well aware of His word, all of it, we still believe, and I always will, as I am the other Christians will. We are grounded in our faith. This is all I will say on the matter, and I will not respond to anything negative, as it's not worth my time.

I know God would want me to keep the peace. And I plan to do just that.

I quite enjoy reading all these verses from The Bible that have been posted some are very uplifting :) i still don't belive in it but its a good thing to read these verses when ur down

Amen, ScienceFreak!! They have an aithest thread after all. They need to stay there, or we can pay them a visit. LOL! I won't act like that though, as I respect others beliefs, and I won't stoop down to their level. Would be a shame if their behavior gets all of the religios threads closed down, theirs included. I would hate to think that none of us would be able to express our religious views here at the forum, that's why I won't attack others religious views. One person can ruin it for everyone, as the old saying goes, so NON believers, please stay in your NON belief thread and leave the believers alone.

Thanks, guys. He says he's not worried about it and that he can take it, but he never means what he says. But thanks for your prayers -- they all share a bathroom, and there's been many cases on their campus, not so much mine, so I think everyone there needs it! :)

They all share a bathroom. All the more reason to pray. They should have disinfectant on hand and clean the bathroom everyday.

LYSOL!! Use it. When either of us get a cold, I spray it all over things we touch all the time.
