Michael Jackson is planning "a major comeback" as a fashion designer, according to reports. The faded pop icon has been linked with a return to music in recent months but now looks to be considering a career change. ***** is apparently in discussions with Christian Audigier of Ed Hardy about the line, which is in its embryonic phase. This is the same tabloid crap that has been circulating. All they did was change an adgective or 2 and repost it.

Michael does not reveal his plans to the media before he is ready to announce it and if it gets out before hand, he will scrap it. I do not believe any truth in this rumour. I believe it is as reliable as the 50 ft floating statue.
What I believe has happened is that the tabloids were saving this from the banter that Christian had when he said he and MJ were going to make clothes. The tabloid put it away for a slow news day and has decided to make it their main MJ news today. If MJ was doing something we would have heard it from MJ, not the tabloids and webbloggers. imo

Wow! Great news! Michael's dress sense has been appreciated by many people including some renowned fashion designers! So I'm really looking forward to this venture and I wish Michael and his team all the very best:)! I'd sure love to buy something from Michael's clothing line :)

Michael Jackson is trying his hand at the fashion industry.

The King of Pop is creating a new clothing line, along with designer Christian Audigier who is best known for his French jeans.

Jackson is reportedly dedicating a lot of time and funding to the venture.

It's been said his recent re-release of "Thriller" didn't give him the cash infusion he had hoped for. -_-

Christian Auidigier reported the project in an interview a few weeks ago.

If it`s true, Michael is certainly present at the opening! I`m sure.

I never considered that I report. That looked to me like someone just having a tongue ion cheek light hearted banter. I proper announcement with MJ standing next to him would make me take t seriously.

He’s made his marks in fashion with Ed Hardy, Smet, Crystal Rock and now L.A. based designer Christian Audigier is moving into the nightlife world. “Christian Audigier The Nightclub” is set to open in Las Vegas in an attempt to bring fashionable nightlife in sin city.

Audigier has partnered up with the Pure Management Group, the same guys who have brought you celeb destinations LAX and PURE in Vegas.

We hear the grand opening will be pretty spectacular with a performance by the “King Of Pop” Michael Jackson. After all this is a guy who celebrated his 50th Birthday party with MJ, Britney Spears, Pamela Anderson and Fergie.

In regards to his club Audigier says, “Quite simply, it feels amazing. I feel like I can do anything and this is just another facet of who I am. I have so much to offer this world from what you wear to how you relax, party and enjoy life. This will be an extension of how I do it and everyone will be able to do it with me. Let’s party!”

Let’s start popping the champagne! The club is set to open in July 2008 at Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.

I am looking for something solid, EC. I want to hear an announcement from the parties, formally. I want to see the advertisement for the opening of the club,not just some write up from a website that nobody knows., I need meat in the bone.

I know. You are right. But if we have to have rumors I sure like the kind we are getting lately and if I had to say which I thought was more likely to happen, this or the stuff in the WSJ, I would say this because even though it is not as large a venue as some of the others it would be to promote a partnership that Michael himself is taking up.

we've heard about a lot of projects from the tabloids first -- the latest being his photo shoots with L'Uomo Vogue and Ebony.

no its only made him around $6 mill before tax so far if the royalty rate is the same as his old contract. these ppl do come up with some B.S

Rumors, truths, half truths.. All this talk about SO MANY different things have to be ignighted by something..

If Michael was just in his cave not planning something big, we would not hear this smoke..

Michael does not just plan an album.. He plans an ERA..

U know with each album, SO much comes with it.. Every era is supported with various things outside of the simple album itself.. (when Michael is behind the project)

I see this album being released.. a concert set to promote it, clothing line to back it, and so much more..

When Mike does it, he does it big.. Where do you think all these entertainment mogels got the idea from to venture outside of music, get indorsements, and go further?? Mike is the one who really kicked that off in a large worldly way..


Everything will co'inside with the album... WATCH!!!


The pattern has been set years ago, it fallows the same track when all goes to plan, and you will see the planets line up ;)

That is why I am sceptical of the WSJ article. IMO what is going to happen in the near future with Michael has been in the planning stages for some time and didn't just come up because some investment firm just bought the loan to neverland.

Deals come in all shapes and ways.. U never know!!! ;)

The articles may show MJ looking like he's obligated to do something for financial help.. But in actuality it could easily be for personal gain WHILE going forth with what he had planned originally..

U want to go see a movie, and not sure which one.. Some one tells you they are lonely and want some company, they are willing to TAKE you to the movies..

Well, they are getting what they want, and you get what u want.. SO u gain in 2 ways.. U satisfy your obligation and personal desire.... :)

Maybe it'll be overly expensive because of the materials and craftsmanship involved... lol. It better not be some Target cheap cloths though either, that would be boring.

Oh I know. He may well be incorporating this into his strategy or take advantage of it but that is an aside from the bigger picture I think. That is my problem with the WSJ article. I think it is very subtly spun and by a reporter for a paper owned by the same person who owns Fox and similar potentially believable lies came out of. Just saying. It may not be real negative but not as positive as what is really going on. All convincing lies are built around some truth.

I am SO saving up for this!!!

You know, Christian Audigier's stuff is pretty expensive...like a hundred dollars for a t-shirt....who knows? Maybe Michael's clothing line will be top of the line fashion stuff! :D

But I just hope it's gonna be as big as they say it will be...
