I have contemplated staying quite in regards to the effect of "Leaving Neverland" on my inner circle of friends and what my own personal beliefs are with regards to its validity. Due to the out poor from the dance community displaying confusion and heart ache specifically from my own students of over 30 years. In addition the years of teaching the craft and tributes of Michael, i decided to respond. First off my concern is and always should be at the forefront supporting any cause that would help diffuse the horrible disease of child abuse. Being a father now I certainly feel heightened in my concern on this matter. In this situation the absents of evidence in a claim or denial of the existence are colliding. My objective is to provide evidence that will help guide the dance community to the realization that we can not condemn any one human based off of speculation. Especially when the speculation is spawned from individuals that have under oath stated the contrary to their current claim. We may in fact empathize and have compassion for the accused and yes believe in their experience but in no way in good conscious crucify the accused by confirming allegations without due process. In this case a due process that has cleared his name on all counts. It is my clear opinion that the real crime that the nation, the world is affected by in the documentary is the notion that speculation and hearsay is evidence - it is not. In this case it is a con job that people are afraid to speak out against. Long live the notion that people should show kindness and that malicious bulling is the real crime.
