Me too - I was always a fan of MJ growing up (I'm 26) but didn't become a huge fan until after he passed away, unfortunately. This is so exciting... the anticipation is killing me!

I've been thinking today about how interesting the release will be. The tracklisting, what order they are arranged, how the album flows... it will be fun to analyze everything and find the meanings in at all; 10+ new MJ songs to learn/memorize! :)

I'm an hour behind you; getting the song at 11pm my time. :cheers:

9PM my time, I'm sooooo excited! Only 6 hours and 15 minutes!!!!!!

Anyone besides me imagine MJ doing Billie Jean type dancing (like, the end of the performances with just the instruments) to this song?

Dunno if this is gonna be on the radio, but omg if it was, lol I imagine people in their car being all like "Wat" because the beginning sounds like all these bunch of static-y urgent news reports. xDD They would think their radio is broken, but then... the song starts with this sick beat.

The beat is great. I can't remember when I last heard such a great beat. Maybe when Invincible came.

Someone has played me the song "Breaking News." I'm not a music expert, but I am a Michael Jackson music fan ... and it's definitely Michael Jackson. The song -- which is awesome -- is a pretty harsh look through Michael's eyes at the media. In essence, he is saying ... You've treated me shabbily and you've hope for my demise, but I'm back!

One of the lyrics:
"They want to see that I fall,
cause I'm Michael Jackson.
You write the words to destroy
like it's a weapon."

In another part of the song, Jackson sings:
"Everybody wanting a piece of Michael Jackson.
Reporters stalking the moves of Michael Jackson.
Just when you thought he was done,
he comes to give it again."

The song is vintage Jackson. The initial beat will remind you of "Billie Jean" and there are all sorts of MJ trademarks throughout.

When you hear it, you will not be able to suppress the image of Jackson dancing to the song.

The song was recorded at the home of music producer Eddie Cascio, when Michael Jackson was living there for four months in 2007.

As good as the song is ... it's not the first single that will be released. We're told we might be able to post a copy of "Breaking News" on TMZ as soon as

But why is the lyrics first I and I'm. - Seems like MJ is singing.
BUT later he - like another person - Seems like MJ is not singing.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND I do NOT mean if it is MJ's VOCALS :lol:

I only think about the confusion in singing about Michael Jackson and then refer to MJ as both I and I'm and he ?

A mix of both Escape and Tabloid Junkie = GREATNESS!

MJ pouring his anger out. This is what I love so damn much about HIStory. He was frustrated and got it out thru his songs. I hope I will feel MJ's despair, anger and sadness in this song.

His desperat cry for acceptens and peace. - Sounds like pure MJ magic.

Now I'm even more exited.

Confusion? Its proper english. You can't say... I Michael Jackson. Has to be I'm Michael Jackson.... And when he uses the word "he", he is speaking in the 3rd person.

I know it I'm MJ - I means when he uses I and I'm - The person who sings the song IS MJ !

WHY would it then change to 3rd person next vers ? Why is MJ all of a sudden he when MH was the person who sings before (I and I'm) ?

Maybe it's just me thinking to much LOL !

But I have to do something for the next 4 hrs and 43 mins right ? :lol:
