I want the ORIGINAL!!!!
You see! Ted wasn't even with Michael when these songs were allegedly created he took what was given to him and mixed it to become a final product. He wouldn't know 100% if this was Michael either.di12;3056569 said:@TeddyRiley1 TEDDY RILEY

Thanks for the heads up.... and he's throwing around the F bomb at people too.
MICHAEL JACKSON data bank France : Michael Jackson does not sing on the song Breaking News available at MichaelJackson.com- There is an actual song called Breaking News recorded by Michael Jackson and members of the cascio family, but this is not the song played on MichaelJackson.com.- 2 persons are involved in this mascarade, which is an insult to Michael Jackson's legacy...
Thanks for the heads up.... and he's throwing around the F bomb at people too.
That's pure madness. Riely seems to be really pissed.

"There's many MJ vocal impersonators. Some better than others. But there is only ONE Michael Jackson. Deceptively merging shady vocals with MJ samples (from prior MJ records) will never fool me. Why they would ignore the obvious, look the other way and rush a suspicious track that was NEVER on my Uncle's radar is beyond me. I'm disgusted, disappointed and saddened. And before the media starts to smear our name, just remember we are COMMITTED (as our Uncle Michael always knew) to protect his name and his amazing legacy he worked his whole life for. We have nothing to gain and we know they will try to drag our name through the mud. But we know how much he valued his legacy and his fans. And cheating either is unacceptable. "Lies run sprints, but the truth runs marathons"
:rollin: :rofl:To answer that question: Yes, apparently so.
But I'm gonna try that next time I don't feel like making dinner and all we've got is some cat food in the cupboard...
Aw, honey, it's steak! Yes it is! I guarantee it 100%! I cooked it myself!
Cancel them pre-orders people! CANCEL EM!!! I don't know who the HELL is on that track, but I do know that that TRACK IS WACK!! And I don't remember who was in this thread talking about "its okay if SOME of the vocals are Michael" Um... since when is it okay to tell the public that a track is MICHAEL JACKSON (or any other singer for that matter) only to have just a few of his vocals along with some impersonator?? What is this Milli Vanilli?
Cancel them preorders people!!! I didn't pre-order and I sure as HELL won't be until Sony gets this shit RIGHT. I'm TIRED ya'll. He should be here singing his OWN damn songs, not some posthumous CD Sony's trying to give us that's filled with craptastic songs and fake ass vocals.
CANCEL YOUR PRE-ORDERS!
The only question left is WHY? Why would Sony, who have plenty of songs in the vault that are actually Michael, create this?
Okay, i have read what Taryll has to say. The acapella he refers to.
It's noticeable that the song has been produced a lot. What i can pick from teh song is that it has been refined and parts of MJ singing extracted and layered in with background vocals too in support.
If you remember the song "This Is It", it's said it was recorded in the 1980s, but you could hear it was not fully produced and sounded old. At teh time i questioned whether Sony could not have produced the song to sound better.
Now when MJ sings at home or in the studio before the final take, even when you listen to his demo songs, including on the box-set, some of those demos are not release quality. Think of the number of times they had to re-produce Thriller.
So Breaking News was done as a demo by Michael. The song and its message was powerful so it was believed this should be the first release as it helps shut down his critics who have been slandering him over the years since 2003 through 2005 and MJ never had a chance to respond. After that, other songs can be released.
So the planners had to deal with the issues at hand, negativity of critics and then MJ's music.
The problem on their hands was a powerful starter song. Breaking News did it, but they lacked a fully produced song, so they really had to work on the demo.
The result is a produced song that leads some to question whether it's MJ's voice.
Listen to a song on the HIStory album, then listen to the same song remixed on the Blood on the Dance Floor album. On teh second album, MJ's voice sounds mixed and is only in some places but it's still him.
So for Taryll who listened the original, it's like a transition from listening to the original raw thing and then listening to the remix without a stopover at the final cut.
That's why their is this gap, but definitely MJ vocals are there.
What seems to have happened also is that the producer may have picked the "ohwhoo!" part from other MJ tracks and laid it on this song, so Tarryll cannot recall MJ saying "ohwhoo!" on this song and wonders how it all came about.
I also think people are mixing up the background vocals with MJ's voice. The people singing the chorus for the first part and most parts don't have MJ in them, even though one sounds like MJ. But MJ's strong voice is clear in these parts.
"Everybody wantin' a piece of .."
"Everybody watchin' the news for.."
"All the news today.."
"You're breaking the news"
So in four segments of the song, at the start, middle, about the end and very end, it's clearly MJ's voice. The rest is mostly background voice and instrumentation.
Also what i can understand from Tarryll's point of view is that he's used to hearing more lyrics in a song by Michael.
But as i said earlier, the producers may have chosen to substitute most of these with background voacals because Michael had not recorded his final take that would sound well in a chorus when synched with other background vocals for the part.
They should have tried to explained to Tarryl their production decisions rather than telling him a series of lies which just made matters worse and left him more suspicious.
But it's better produced than releasing a quality similar to "This is it" song which sounded so 80's, hollow and like a demo.
