Maybe it is wishful thinking - but so far I have seen or heard nothing which changes my original feeling that it is Michael Jackson on that track.

How much is MJ and how much is production and other vocals is perhaps up for debate. But there is enough MJ on there for me to be happy with it and look forward to the album.

My opinion - great song, great production, Michael Jackson lyrics and MJ vocals.

If it turns out to be fake then I stand corrected, but doesnt change the fact that before I checked out the forum i was happy with my brand new mj track.

So is this song a joke? Because I'm not laughing. There are plenty of okayish MJ impersonators - I don't buy their albums thanks. Can this shit not offend my ears again please - there were about 7 seconds-worth of song that I thought sounded 'a bit' like Michael. This cannot be happening.

PS What the f**k is that squinty eyed album cover?! Did that painter ever see Michael Jackson?!

I'm in a state of shock, I don't know what to think anymore... when I first heard the song, I was like this isnt Michael... and then the song "Let Me Let Go" came to my head, and I was like, maybe it's Michael's enhanced computered voice like "Let Me Let Go" I went on a search of the song in youtube, and there I see "Let Me Let Go by Jason Malachi"... which has lead me to being even more confused than ever... I personally don't hear Michael's being in this song... even enhanced, it's not him, like in 2000 Watts, you can't get more enhanced BUT you feel Michael's presence and way of singing... in "Breaking News" it isn't the case, the way Michael would say his name, his voice motion, his accent... it's just not MJ... I would like to understand why? I'm loosing my mind here!

Are you seriously telling me you don't think Michael's own relatives can't tell the difference between his voice and someone else's when even his FANS can tell the difference?

I mean, indeed I won't resort to "bigger fan than you" comments, I really do feel it's an insult to Michael that you think that Jason Malachi (cause that's the person who is singing on the track)'s voice is Michael's voice. It's sad that you mistake crap (an amateur impersonating Michael's voice) for art (Michael's actual singing).

I am not trying to be mean to you, but it really, really blows my mind that you could think that this is Michael.

There is a MAJOR difference. MAJOR. If you don't hear the difference, it's just really sad. For you.

I believe it is MJ because to me it sounds like him. Simple as that. Also Teddy says it is him and cascio (sp?) says its him. We all can choose who we want to believe and we can all have an opinion about the vocals. I may end up wrong or you might end up wrong - but I won't feel foolish because all I am going on is the fact that MichaelJackson.com is playing a song they say is Michael Jackson and to me it sound plausible that its him.

If it is proved that its not then I will get angry.

Until then I'm happy its him and I like the song simple as that.

I myself am on the fence, but I do believe there is a possibility of the track being 100% MJ, in fact I am leaning towards that side. Actually come to think of it, there's something very strange going on here... Let's just say if this is or isn't Michael (which I believe it's not him) Why would sony choose out of god knows how many songs to play one that would leave to wonder... I mean "Do You Know Where Your Children Are?" no one on the planet can argue this is Michael, pure and simple, just the first note and it was done for me, exactly like "This Is It"... when you know that we are living in a world where everything is messed in regards to MJ since his passing, and you know everyone is on the verge of questioning the authenticity of his new music, why would you release a song that is questionable wheter it is him or not??? I find that very unusal... there is something big behind this... but what??

I will still like the song even if its not MJ because to me its a good song.

I would be angry if it turned out it was not MJ because then i would feel that was disrespectful - but I do believe it is MJ.

I trust that because of my own knowledge of MJs voice over the years and a recognition that other vocals have been added to the mix in the same way as in other MJ songs for example 'Shout' where other vocals are mixed with MJ.

This opinion is as valid as anyone elses who have differing opinions.

Its NOT him. Nothing in the way this singer phrases anything in this song sounds like Michael. The people who think this is Mike are the equivalent of those terrible singers who audition for idol and think they sound brilliant.

I thought it might be difficult to tell that it's a fake - but it's very, very obvious. Within seconds of the song starting - the whole timbre, the tone - everything. It's just an impersonation.

I don't think the song's bad so I'm not in denial that MJ could make a song I don't like (there are plenty) - it's just a blatant fraud.

I'm desperately clinging to the idea that this is some kind of publicity stunt - but then, if it was it would be so deeply inappropriate as to not bear thinking about.

Also, do people really think MJ would write and record a song where he repeatedly sings his own name?

Some important things:

1) The family has no credibility. They may be right? YES, but we do not want to forget everything they did. I DO NOT TRUST THEM.

2) If We had known 2000watts today we would think that it is a fake voice.

3) The song was unfinished. There was probably a GREAT production work.

4) The Jacksons did. They left everyone in doubt. But if this album fails and years later we find out it was Michael Jackson, Fans will be responsible. Not the Jacksons. Not Sony. THE FANS.
