I think $ony/E$tate are both too busy discussing this between themselves right now. And devising plans to try and get $ony out this deep water.

Anyways, nearly two days and no single explanation. I'd like to know what is going on behind scenes.

EVERYONE is quiet, all the insiders that used to post here, and including Gaz.

we had that one comment from smooth about a meeting and thats it.

If nothing is announced OFFICIALY from $ony by tomorrow, then I don't know what to say...(and I don't mean teddy riley, the insiders from here, or anyone else). I mean an OFFICIAL statement from a 100% credible source.

Because seriously, this has got to be the biggest fraud in music history. How dare they continue to scorch him like this?? I thought June 25th was enough??!

I hope that you realize that this "could be fake vocals" fiasco hurts the estate as much as Sony. once you put a doubt in people's minds people wouldn't be as open and receptive to the future releases as well. everything would have "oh could this be fake as well' attached to it. if the album sells minimal it would mean less royalties for the estate. if the album miserably fails you can bet that Sony will get out of the long term $250M deal. All of which would hurt the estate financially. similarly any legal actions could affect the estate as well depending on their involvement.

I know that you are solely focused on Sony but try to see the bigger picture.

Sony - well actually Epic - has already released a statement saying that the vocals are 100% Michael's and they are standing behind their extensive research.

So are you saying that we shouldn't care if Michael's vocals are fake just so the album won't have minimum sells?

I'd like to see their extensive research.

All you have to be is a fan of Michael to know that is not him. Extensive research is unecessary. JUST FEEL MICHAEL. So many of us don't. That's a huge problem. AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED....along with the continued disrespect towards him.

When Martha A. sang 'Cry', a song she claimed she and Michael wrote together and he was going to sing, no extensive research had to be done for me to believe 1000% that that was really Michael's song she was singing. Because i felt Michael through the lyrics, the melody, and her voice. through everything.

Poor Michael.

Yeah one of my first thoughts after hearing Breaking News was how I felt the first time after hearing 2000 Watts how he sounded so... different. So, a small part of me wants to believe it's him.

exactly.....I just CANNOT accept that that is him...NO way....I don't care what anyone says...that is utter bullshit...

The only reason I can fathom is that the whole "MJ recorded with the Cascio's" was a plan formed by the Cascio's themselves. They spoke for a while about how Michael recorded with them, got impersonators to come up with songs - and when they gave the work to Sony, Sony couldn't tell it wasn't him.

Can't think of many other reasons...

Yes, both of those songs leaked. Some people think Carry On is real. But I think most think they are both fake, fake, fake.

My point is that is actually what you are saying - this problem needs to be fixed or it would hurt the estate as much as or perhaps even more that it can hurt Sony.

idk if someone beat me too it, this thread is moving so fast, but on Jason Malachi's twitter he says its not him, but that it doesn't sound like Michael.....I feel like i'v been run over by a car and I've had a headache for two days... WHAT is going on

lol. dnt be so confused. everyone is saying it's jason malachi because he's one of the most popular that sound like michael.

But as I said before, it doesn't HAVE to be Jason specifically. There are plenty of other Michael voice impersonators. As I also said before, I saw this guy on youtube and he sounded more like Michael than Jason.

Any songs in doubt should not be put on the album. It's not worth the trouble it is causing and it already causing problems.

Okay, so...I've been at work since 9am and just got home...what the *heck* happened today?! I hear a lot of things have leaked? Are they real? Could someone please please please please give me a 5-10 bullet update of what all happened today? Anything at all we've found out. I am about to start reading where I left off...page 208...but it's going to take forever... So, if, in the meantime, someone could please do this for me I will rep you and love you forever.

im not sure if you were referring to marcus joseph that LLCz gave you the answer to or the guy i said sounded better than Jason.

the guy i said that sounded better than jason, idk who he is. he was just a random hardcore Michael fan entertaining in the streets.
