BAD25 - The Announcement We Have All Been Waiting For [General Discussion]

You know, I was thinking... how cool would it be if they edited all the concert footage they filmed for The Chase to make a full concert video with it? Something like Come Together or Man In The Mirror... That would make a nice bonus for the Spike Lee blu-ray...

Apparently Buffalo Bill was too far out of the initial recording range (1986 to 1987), and What You Do to Me was pushed for I'm So Blue. Hopefully we'll hear them soon.

Yeah Buffalo Bill was intended for Victory I believe, as he stated in the Interview he did in California with Latoya and Louie the Llama

Anyone who buys that version, please review with screenshots and snippets.
I guess its going to be the same quality as number ones and visionary, cause same masters were used on both. so those are the latest avaible sources for such releases.

I didn't get it, this version comes with the first 2-CDs and a DVD with the videos? The concert is not included? If someone could clear this up for me, thanks!

there are multiple versions of BAD 25

3 CD (original album, new demos / remixes, live concert) + 1 DVD set

DVD alone

2 CD (original album, new demos/remixes)

Retailers around US is having exclusive editions that can be only bought from them

Walmart has 2 CD + a t shirt

Target has 2 CD + Bad music videos

it's a slim chance IMO. they aren't releasing the videos as a part of the major release, it's just a extra for target. I would expect it to be something that has been ready & done before.
 
If they were going to spend the time to restore them, it wouldn't be just some target bonus disc, tbh.
Let alone a DVD.

Oh, and slightly unrelated topic. Does anyone remember the I CARE 4 U album by Aaliayah? (after she died, they released a CD with hits and unreleased songs, and a DVD of select music videos).

The video quality of those videos was harrible! It's like they just got some VHS copy lying around Aaliyahs house and put them on DVD.
 
The bonus music videos will probably be a direct rip off of a few other DVDs (Vision, Number Ones, etc.).
 
I think it'll be Vision, with same menu etc, just only the videos from Bad.

where can we get the "Target" version? i already pre-ordered the wallmart, and all the stuff in mjj site... but i dont know how to get the target....
 
Sony has so many chance to release MJ's videos on Blu-ray. I don't understand for WHAT they are waitnig for? Maybe they waiting for all film reels will destroyed by time, and they will said that and it will be real true reason for not release videos
 
^that post made me think something sad...is people still trying to fuck up his legacy, even after he died? Don't they want to preserve the greatest in the best way possible?
 
Walmart version is on eBay along with IJCSLY and Pepsi cans as one deal. I'm sure the target version will be on there soon aswell ;)
