etoile 37;3645038 said:"I told her then, and I've always believed since, that it was a tragedy that her performance in the play could not have been preserved on film. I cried time after time. As much as I like the Broadway stage, I don't think I'd want to play on it myself. When you give a performance, whether on record or on film, you want to be able to judge what you've done, to measure yourself and try to improve. You can't do that in an untaped or unrecorded performance. It makes me sad to think of all the great actors who have played roles we would give anything to see, but they're lost to us because they couldn't be, or simply weren't, recorded." – Michael Jackson, Moonwalk

Yeah.
Please PM a link with the BAD25 PEPESI remix!
Almighty flop?? - only 12 million sales?
WHAT!?????
I actually was undoing button per button of my shirt and progressively showing my t-shirt. The students had to guess what kind of t-shirt I was wearing. They couldn't, so I had to take off my shirt. And this is what they saw
The description says:
Jackson's domination of the world record market continued following Thriller, although by comparison it was an almighty flop with only 12 million sales. As Pink Floyd and Dire Straits have proved, one album can go completely sales haywire without necessarily being any better. The title track and the gorgeous "Man In The Mirror" were substantial hits, but quality material such as "Dirty Diana" and "Liberian Girl" bolster a strong album. Jackson also seemed to have found the romance he seeks in "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" and "The Way You Make Me Feel." Regardless of his press, history clearly shows that he has made a lot of people very, very happy.

Oh they simply have to inject some negativity into everything don't they? Flop - my ass!
^Very soon I hope. Maybe right after they release IJCSLY/Don't Be Messin' Around.
Also, are you guys absolutely sure that the Afrojack remix will be on Bad 25?
wait, how could they not guess?!?! do u not talk about mj in class, i would have thought it would be easy for anyone who knows you to guess that lol
maybe it's OT for this particular thread but i totally agree, the afrojack remix is B-A-D. As in: totally off the hook awesome i love it. i actually really like remixes usually though anyway. but bad is my favorite song
I was surprised myself. And they hadn't seen the Thriller video before I showed them either. Thank the negative press for that. But at least now they saw it

LOL. Where did they get the 12 million number from? Probably they saw something about US sales and thought the number was world wide. Alone in the UK it sold more than 4 million and is on the list of top 10 best selling albums of all time in the UK, so how was it a flop and how did it sell only 12 million world wide?
Yes, I am (I teach adults) And do you know what I did for halloween?
I did a strip-tease. Well, just above the bell and I didn't go further than my t-shirt
I actually was undoing button per button of my shirt and progressively showing my t-shirt. The students had to guess what kind of t-shirt I was wearing. They couldn't, so I had to take off my shirt. And this is what they saw:
After my strip-tease I switched off the lights and we watched the Thriller video. They liked it very much
