Uhu..it sounds good and Bruce Swedien also was very enthousiastic, but the thing with snippets (with me) is always that it can give a very different impression of the actual whole song. For me it was the same with 'All in your name'. When I heard the whole song it was very different from what I had in mind and it was like that snippet didn't belong in the song (because I already formed an idea of the song). I had to get used to how it was used in the song. It sounded strange because of that....:D.

But I'm looking forward to hear 'Don't be messin' around'.

Smooth Criminal was released October 1988 and Moonwalker was released December 1988.

Now when i think about it, the people who attend the second leg before october 1988 had no idea about how smooth criminal was. What he would wear for costume or what the routine was..

here is the same thing they did with dangerous tour dvd. overdubed with crowd noises. i'm afraid the samething is going to be on bad tour release. example is APOM video, MITM moonwalker, bad wembley. that ruins the audio, but can live with that i guess. if you have heard the snippets from 15-16 july they are great. screaming is only then, when the crowd was really screaming. the guy who worked on them, said that he gave the mastering pure and then the overdubing was added in post-production.
same is with munich 97. but there at least isn't constant loud through the whole concert. it present, but in decent level, like it should be.
oh, well!!!
lets hope the picture is mitm equal.

Yep some of the filming was also done before the 1st leg I believe because he was flying out to Japan and Australia, and then filming completed before he went on the road again in the USA. They had to be super organised with all the promotion touring and releases going on when the Bad album was released in 87.

Amazing to think Moonwalker was made & filmed all in the middle of a huge tour - and those 2 things (Bad tour/Moonwalker) are arguably the best things MJ has done :0)

I hope they read you post. I also hope that they don't do anything to the music. They did some changes to the music in Bucharest dvd. Man in the Mirror in BBC version sounds a little different if I remember right. They need to keep the music like it originally was.

Really hope we will get to see the Bad Tour 1988 this year, after waiting for 22 years for it to be released.

I can't even watch Bucharest DVD with my 5.1 speakers, the crowd noise makes my ears hurt. I have to lower the volume after each song.

That's because Bucharest was recorded in a weird way. They boasted the wrong frequencies which causes the hurt in the ears.
