All killer, no filler

John Mayer's Continuum was all killer for me. Every track had it's identity with one cover song. I listened to every single song with a different approach. It's some of his best work, if not his actual best.

I really think Q-Tip's The Renaissance is a great album and mostly killer. I don't know his past works, but I can't get enough of this album yet and still dig it.



Oh, and when I saw the title of the thread, one album came into mind for me. Def. not all killer, but it was my first real hard alt. rock cd, lol!

all MJ albums with the exception of HIStory and Invincible ( too many tracks IMO).

Madonna's confessions on a dance floor.. well it's not exactly all killer but the entire just sets an awesome mood.

evanescen's fallen was great... although I was 14 at the time... maybe my opinion has changed?

... can't think of anything else really, there many amazing albums but they all have few filler tracks here and there.

I was going to say HIStory, but you have Come Together and This Time Around, which are both filler.

Appetite For Destruction - Guns N Roses (although Anything Goes lets it down a bit)
Harvest - Neil Young
Contraband - Velvet Revolver

Very few & far between. Even my most favourite albums have one or two tracks I can easily skip.

Dangerous is the only perfect album, Thriller and Bad also very, very close.

From other artists, Madonna's American Life & Hard Candy.
Fratelli's Here We Stand.
Alanis Morrisette's Jagged Little Pill
Suede's Coming Up

She Wolf is all a filler. sigh.

i disagree about HIStory. i love this time around and come together remake. no filler on HIStory, for me.

i cant let her get away and and she drives me wild are filler to me! although for michael the word "filler" doesnt mean much!

Dangerous is plagued with filler. Bad is the only one that doesn't have filler.

What is a filler track anyway? Is it a track that doesn't flow with the rest of the album? Or is it a track that people just don't like?

That wasn't even implied. I also agree that Dangerous has a filler (can't let her get away). In fact, I think all MJ albums have some filler songs, but that doesn't mean he's not the greatest ever.
