lol! Thankyou ButterflyLady :)

Thanks for sharing all those, MisterMaxxx...wow. And I'm looking at wannabestartinsomthin's sig...I'm surprised even Greta Garbo said something about Michael! This guy's got all the legends praising him. :flowers:

lol, I know Carina, I was gonna add it, but I figured what's the point since I have it in my sig. Greta Garbo was a legned in her own time, just like Michael, and they were both percieved as reclusive, so the paralleles are interesting. Garbo hated to give interviews and doing the whole PR thing, just like Michael, but just like Michael I think, she understood her worth what it took to keep people interested. She was a true artist.

I don't think I have any more to add - at the top of my head.

C'mon wannabe, we know you've got a lot hidden away. :D

i remember reading that MC Hammer said when it comes to recording artist it doesn't get any better than Michael Jackson.

Lauryn Hill & Brandy also had him at the top of the list of who they wanted to work with.

I usually read between the lines most of the threads, but this one, I could not let it slip. I read it word by word and I enjoy it. :kickass: to everyone that posted here. It took me some time reading all (plus the other thread about Michael voice), but I'm ready for overtime :D I was lucky enough, my boss didn't saw me staring at the display :D

Thank you, everyone! :flowers:

P.S. Someone fuel WBSS, cause I just like her passion and once we start her, we could not stop her  and I like that!

lol. There's a quote from Michael Peter's, another one, that's from the making of Thriller. I had it written down somewhere, but I can't find it at the moment. As soon as I do, I'll post it here for you guys.

Okay, here it is.

"Michael is quite amazing to me because, he's working with these people that have made a living of this, I mean have studied this for a greater portion of their lives and, he'll walk into a studio and, it's purely on rhythm, I mean I purely give him a rhythm of a step, and he does it, you know, and it really just, it's fascinating, because here are these people, you know, who've spent X amount of thousands of dollars training, studying to be dancers for all their lives and this kid walks into a room and you say 'this is the beat, ba, dada, dada, dada.' and he does it. It's really wonderful to watch because it's an innate gift that he has. He’s a dancer in his soul."

- Michael Peters on Michael Jackson

“Fame has sent a number of celebrities off the deep end, and in the case of Michael Jackson, to the kiddy pool.”[/b]

Bill Maher quotes (American Comedian, Actor, Writer and Producer. b.1956)

I had to read it a few times before I realize it's good statement, lol. It is, isn't it...?

Ok, another one:

“Fatherhood is telling your daughter that Michael Jackson loves all his fans, but has special feelings for the ones who eat broccoli.”[/b]

Bill Cosby quotes (American Actor, Comedian and Producer. b.1937, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA)

And I like this one 'cause it's simply neutral:

“We may see Michael Jackson's baby before we know the final outcome of this race for the House of Representatives tonight.”[/b]

Dan Rather quotes (American TV newscaster, b.1931)

:flowers:

In an interview with Amy Lee from Evanescence she said that Michael is "such a big rock star" and that he was her idol growing up. Big fan of them both so that cheered me up a bit :D

QUOTE
The late conductor and composer, Leonard Bernstein said that Michael could do more with a few notes than Prince could do with a whole composition. This is not an exact quote but in essense is what he said. This statement was quoted in the USA TODAY. I have the quote somewhere, but it is not readily available to me at the moment.

Michael Jackson is the greatest artist that has hit this planet, everyone knows it, is just that some people can't appreciate this kind of great talent because they are ignorants in what art is.

True enough vanesa. Michael is a total genius, in everything he does. He's absolutly brilliant. Quotes to the affect of the one from Berstein and other's in the fields of creative arts, pertaining to Michael, prove that. Many people don't want to admit it, it's the reason for the constant attempts to find a "new Michael Jackson" or a replacement of some kind. But there never will be one, Michael is unique, he is blindingly talented.

I'd heard about Amy Lee being a fan, there's even pictures of her in concert wearing a shirt with a picture of Michael. She's one of the most talented people to come up in recent years I think, so that's awsome as well.

Here's a couple more.

"Michael is what I consider 'a dancer in his soul. He has never studied; he's not a professionally-trained dancer. He never took dance classes and you wouldn't hire him to be part of the core of a dance company. But he has the sensibilities of a dancer. He just dances! You know? I can put him in the middle of 30 trained dancers-who make their living at that and have studied for 20 years-and he can do it. Of course, you have to adapt the piece to what he can do."

"The morning after the Motown telecast, Fred Astaire called up Michael and told him how much he enjoyed his performance, Michael called that his 'greatest compliment'. Fred Astaire told him he was wonderful. Michael doesn't tap, that I know of, but he could really do a Fred Astaire-type film right now in his career, as far as that style goes. Michael adapts incredibly well to style. If he were to do a movie like that, he'd have to take tap classes."

-Michael Peters on Michael Jackson

"Michael's a truth machine. He's got the balance between the wisdom of a sixty-year-old and the enthusiasm of a child."

- Quincy Jones on Michael Jackson

Wannabestartinsomethin, you put in paper exactly what MJ is all about, and as i said before, some people level of taste on knowledgment in the arts are mediocre, or unexistent, so i said to everyone that MJ is greatest artist that God has created.
