A.I Michael - opinions

It is amazing. It sounds literally just like them.

It's also hilarious that that's how easy it is to recreate them.

Michael is taking a whole lot more work. Unfortunately the open source natures means we'll get too many crappy half hearted efforts that just sound bad and make everybody sick of it. If AI always sounded like this it would basically never be as contested.

And seeing Damien fight for his life in the comments under that song is pretty hilarious too.

Tricky ones would be either of the Paul McCartney duets from Pipes of Peace. Say Say Say is probably easier than The Man. The Girl is Mine wouldn't be a problem at all.

Kenny Loggins Who's Right, Who's Wrong would also be interesting.

I think only beno is using an impersonator so the above are impressive especially music & me imo.

Hey guys, on a separate note before talking about this -
glad to be a mod here, hoping I can help make this a better place for you. And for me. And the entire hu- okay sorry.

But back to the topic, I have spent the last week researching and building an A.I model of Michael jackson singing, and after almost 40 hours of training the ai is scaring me at how it has reached the level of a really good Michael impersonator, and I'm only about 30% done training.

Now before you slander me, I will justify my actions by saying that if it wasn't me, it would have been made by someone most likely named "MJ_LEAKS2008" and would have been used to create fake "leaks". I am keeping the model completely private, and will only be working on songs either Michael covered but are unreleased (Delilah, Hot fun, Jane is a groupee) or songs michael himself loved (Automatic, Upside-down, How deep is your love, My Perogative). Another thing I'd love to try is to finish Hollywood tonight by using the written bridge.

Now, the reason to why I've made this thread - should I releass songs online with this tool, or keep them all private? And also what are your opinions on this matter, and do you believe Michael would have been fascinated by this technology?

Again, I would love to read peoples opinions (mostly so i have something to read on my work break, lol), if you want to criticise me go ahead too btw as I'd love to hear everyone's opinion.

Thanks lads (and again, I hope I can help ye all in the best ways I can!)
First of all, I give a ton of credit to you for working so hard and long on your A.I. project. For me, (like many other fans) I'm not too sure about the A.I. stuff. I mean, I'm not gonna lie, hearing Michael sing new content is amazing and I think Michael would have been intrigued by this new technology, but at the end of the day, I'm not Michael, and heck, maybe he would have loved it. We just can't be sure. Trust your gut on whether or not you should release it. I know I would love to hear some new MJ songs and you have the right intentions. Please keep up the hard work! :)

How does the AI do in recreating MJ's plain tenor? And his falsetto. So far we've heard a lotta "stereotypical" MJ songs. There was Groove of Midnight, which I thought was pretty rough of all the songs so far. The gritty vocals always seem to be easier to recreate.

Yeah, it was my first attempt with an impersonator lmao. Eaten Alive on the other hand, was amazing.

We don't talk about nighttime lover.

not happy with the results at all. i KNOW torture will be so good though.
Nighttime Lover doesn't sound as great to me as Eaten Alive (which sounds very very realistic to me) - but it's a very listenable cover in any case and plays for me in the highest league compared to all the other AI MJ models. In general, I would like to express my appreciation for your high quality content and the time and energy you put into it!
