Latest on MJJC

9 Mill. New Fans.

I can definately see how those who have been fans for some time would be a bit miffed that suddenly that he is gone now it is "cool" to like MJ. I do feel bad that I didn't "come to the light" before, but well better late than never I guess.
Its odd because I tend to not want to really talk about it much with other people, or let others know that I like him probably because it is the "thing" and it just seems embarassing to be thought of as a wannabe lol. I am a wannabe real fan!! :D

Great news on the 10,000,000! And yes I know what you mean about it now being cool to like MJ. People are talking about him way more now, and everybody says they like his music. At my college, people are doing their projects on him. For instance my friend Adrian is doing his speech on Michael Jackson...all positive. I hear my teachers talk about how great he was, his music is on the radio more often in our area. Plus, I find people are just much more accepting of Michael now. It's sad that his death had to do this.

Unfortunately, this is one of a human-beings' biggest flaws, IMO. Very cliche', but people really do not know what they have until it's gone. This is exactly why I try make it a point in my life to treat people with kindness and respect every single day (except when someone pisses me off, of course :p) while they are alive. I've also learned the hard way, and have lost people that I've loved whom I regretted treating like shit. THEN... Karma came back and bit me in the ass. HARD. Boy, did I learn a thing or two. So once again, I always treat people with kindness and respect, but I also know when to keep/put my guard up as well, and not be overly open or trusting. I do not know if Michael ever learned how to do that, though, and it makes me so sad. He was just so fragile and overly caring. :(
