Yes, the voices (played by director Ryan McMullen, Jennifer Underwood and Ron Cuirle). The cabin has its own laughtrack and chorus commentary on the action within. By the second act, those voices become more and more insistent on wanting to be entertained by any means possible. While the reference to Michael Jackson was a little dated, and the play itself goes a little over the top, the material is current and topical enough to make the audience squirm -- and think.

With scissors, paint, dye, ribbon, and needle and thread, Bilgo transforms simple T-shirts and black pants into costumes.

That Justin Timberlake reference I find racially offensive because Michael is NOT white nor was he an early version of anybody white.

Perhaps deleting the GM mention that proceeds that Michael mention could end the confusion if that had been done in the first place you wouldn't had the reaction that came about.

Well, I went ahead and did what you suggested, but I strongly advise that you read things properly instead of blaming me for the fact that you made a mistake.

'The new, black Kennedy'
Berlin toasts Barack Obama
Arnaud Bouvier , AFP
Published: Thursday, July 24, 2008

BERLIN - Berliners laid on the beer, sausages and a carnival atmosphere as the city got its first proper glimpse of the man anointed by the press as "the new, black Kennedy."
[...]
Police spokesman Michael Bengsch said Berliners were fascinated by the visit.

"It's a little as if Michael Jackson or some other pop star were dropping by," he said.

:D

Zimbabwe: Chabata - Country's Own Michael Jackson

ZIMBABWE has given birth to a sungura Michael Jackson in the form of Orchestra Mberikwazvo dancer, Darlington Chabata.

Those who frequent Alick Macheso's live shows or who have watched his latest Ndezvashe-eh video might be familiar with the gangly, supple dancer going through the "***** *****" dance routines.

Popularly known by his stage name Matoki - Darlington not only imitates Michael Jackson's breakdance to accompany Macheso's sungura, but he has also gone a notch up by adding to his repertoire costume that resembles that of his American idol.

"It all started while I was in Grade Three.

"Jackson's fame as a dancer influenced me. I remember one day watching his Live in Bucharest show on television that I woke up the next day learning how to do the Moonwalking dance," recalls Darlington.

indeed, in a perfect world it shouldn't matter, even in the slightest.

and for many, it doesn't.

Sorry but that is society. It is not right but that is just the way it goes. It is just like why do people GOSSIP about people even though they do not know the facts? Why do people KILL innocent people who are not bothering them? WHy do people STEAL when something does NOT belong to them? etc. IN a perfect world, none of these things should matter or should happen either but it does.

Just in case some may not know "We Are The World" has about 16 million views cumulatively on "YouTube", which is huge.

All other kinds of such songs are far, far behind. It is the most popular song of the past ever on the Internet (with exception of "Thriller", of course).

Yes, that is not "Eagles'" "Hotel California", not any of "Beatles'" most famous songs, not Elton John's "Candle In The Wind".

It always stunned me how certain producers were arrogant enough back in 1998-2001 and even now to mentor Jackson on songwriting and arrangement.

When they do so they are probably in complete loss of sense of reality and sane self-esteem.
